The Will to Survive Plot

Rontu stared there thinking about it , finally he had made a decision "fine, but i dont see why you cant make your own home, this is a temporary home until i find a better place, but first you must tell me who you are" he grunted eyeing the fox untrustfully and walking around it

[Hope]

"Lexi. Who are you if your not chicken enough to answer." she grinned and turned around to him. She bowed showing him respect and lowered her tail.

[Myann]

"Rontu meaning fox eyes , and wild chickens are not as scared as you think , they tend to peck and claw you" he answered walking out to the stream, he had noticed some grass had grown and a few rodents had been scattering around with seeds in their mouth, he nibbled some grass , he found a carcass of a small fawn, "it must've died of thirst" he thought to him self , and dragged it back to his den and ate hungrily , and saved it for later

Mother nature looks upon the hungry fox's and rewards him with a plump mouse in his hole.She looks over the forest and watch's the fire of her wrath go down.Yet no one has attempted to ask for forgiveness to their greedy ways.With a smirk she re raises the fire's in attempt to drive them out of new homes which starts a hot smoldering fire were two eagles lay.

Huffs and gasps come from the grizzly bear as he, try as he might, to keep his pace away from the roaring flames. The recent loss of his sibling makes him want to stand still and grieve, however the adrenaline pumped into his body kept him from giving in to his depression. Black smoke darkened the area around him, charred and wilted plants lay around him, even the ground seemed to be blackened by the fire. As a large bear, it would take a lot more smoke than this to bring him down, so he kept going, running from the fire that seemed to have slowed down behind him. The area Llwd was around had already been in fire, however there were small areas still aflame only a few paces away. He eventually eyed a small river nearby, making his bruised heart jump a little with the tiniest bit of joy. He was absolutely tired from running, and he hadn't drank in a while. He slowed his pace, then made slow, yet large gulps of water from the river. The area near him was still charred and black. Only a few bits of live grass were guarded by the water from the river. He slowly nibbled on them, laying his belly on the shallow part of the river so he could rest and think.
What have we done to deserve this?
That was the question he was pondering in his head. He looked up at the sky, that of which looked beautiful compared to the ground below, and thought carefully about the situation. His mind was clouded like the smoke in the forest, but he still wanted to ask why, why his sister had to die. Was it him? Did his sister cause her own death? Was it all the animals in the forest or around it that caused Mother Nature to be so angry? Llwd looked up at the sky and silently begged for forgiveness, whatever the cause may have been. He felt quite childish for begging, but he couldn't think of anything else to do. Mother Nature was very important to the bears, or, at least, to his sister and mother. He was still panting heavily, all of the smoke he had breathed in was clouding and making him feel a little dizzier over time. His head slowly lowered to his paws, and his eyes gently began to close.

Rontu woke up to find a mouse in his den but also to smell that there was smoke in the air and fire burning, he had run out of his den forgetting about the mouse, as the fire grew sevre the animals that lived by run past him , passing burning trees and grass , he leaped over a burning log , he ran so much until he found a lake , he decided to make his temporary home here because the fire would not reach to him easily, he dug out his new home big enough for him to fit in , after he was done, he lapped up large amounts of water and saw a family of beavers living in a dam in front of a river, he saw a young beaver , he ran up to it and chased it until the beaver had slowed down, he bit and shook the beaver until it was motionless, he went back to his den devouring the beaver quickly, as he had not eaten all day, he layed in his den , thinking about how all the animals in the forest will survive this sevre fire Mother Nature had casted upon them , he had not remembered what had happened to his family as he was young when they had disapeared, he wondered why Mother Nature had done that, he knew he was "i'm sometimes a thief, but only for survival" he thought to himself , after a while of laying he had fallen asleep

[Hope]

Maggie looked up from the tree hallow. There was a crackling fire around their tree. "Oh Mighty Mother, Sasha is just a chick. What have I done? She is to young to fly." Maggie turned her head and nudged her young one awake. "Time to fly, theres a fire headed to our tree. Calmly awake, do not be alarmed." she soothed her daughter who was looking at her mother with startled eyes. "Mama!" the chick screeched. "It's okay, I will carry you." the mother eagle felt uneasy as her own daughter's weight was going to be heavy. The eagle fly up and grabbed her chick. As she flew out of the hallow a tree branch on fire was knocked into the hallow before they could go. Maggie dropped Sasha,"See that gap? You can walk around the branch before the fire gets worse. I will find away to get out, just wait at the entrance. "Ma! No!' the chick cried. Maggie had no choice, but she nudged her daughter. "Okay mama, I will" the chick went threw the gap. "Oh please Earth's Mother. Let me live! My chick will die, if she survives there is no way she could survive with out a mother!" the mother eagle pleaded.

[Desinee]

Mother Nature listened to the prayers of her children and blew out the fires.She looked down onto the charred earth and withered plants.She looked at the streams."Enjoy your water tonight because tomorrow there shall be less."Mother nature turned her gaze towards the safe haven and placed the worthy dead animals there and healed there broken hearts and spirits.

[Hope]

Maggie sighed, "Thanks you...." she smiled and went over to her daughter. "Tomorrow, we find somewhere safe... but tonight we hope for less destruction tomorrow and forever." she grabbed her chick and flew off to somewhere safe. She landed by a burnt oak with it's leaves around it's roots in ashes. She landed on a tree limb and placed her daughter in a huge twist in the tree that made a great bed. She placed feathers plucked from her own down then put them around her daughter. "Goodnight sweetie." she whispered then flew off to hunt.

Rontu woke up the next morning, sniffing the air , there was no more smoke , when he went outside his den , he saw that mother nature had put away the fires, he saw the surviving animals re-making their homes , but when he took a look at the lake , he was horrified , ''oh no, Mother nature had put us in a drought!" he thought to himself with a shocked face, seeing animals fight eachother for the water, he found a fish that was washed up against the shore he ate it anyway ,he lapped up a few puddles that were left , he decided to gather food , as he predicted food would be scarce for a long period of time, he dragged back a rabbit that had died from exaustion from a fight over water, he found a few berries that had just grown and stored them back at his den, he had seen that there lesser animals , he trotted out and had a long drink, until another Fox jumped on him and fought with him, he fleed towards his den , he collapsed , he saw that mother nature had casted these natural disasters , because animals were greedy with water , food , and land, "i'm not greedy with food , nor water ... am i?" he thought to himself..

[Hope]

Lexi slept under the shade of a great willow, that was starting to regrow it's long strands of string-like leaves, when her throat seemed dry. She opened her eyes to see cracked grounds. "Oh no..." she closed her eyes for a few minutes and thought this over. "I have to find somewhere safe, somewhere with food and water and safety." she got to her paws and went to find Rontu. As she spotted him in his den... she poked her nose in. "Rontu, may I speak with you?' she asked.

(Do not say that the vegetation is growing back -.- I have never seen a tree burn then the next morning have fresh leaves on it.)

silly , Lexi cant find Rontu that fast after they got lost in the fire , Rontu went real far away from his old temporary den, i find it very awkward to find the person you were with when they JUST got seperated and they went VERY far, and plus the smoke made all the scents away so i dont think its possible to find him easily,
so pls change what you posted
and i agree with Desinee, it takes years for trees to regrow, and it also takes 25 (or lesser or more,idrk) years for a whole forest to recover from a fire

The large grizzly lifted his head, already noticing that the cloudiness in his mind had faded. His eyes squinted to the high sun above. He slowly picked himself up and wobbled around a little. He slowly wobbled his way to the even smaller, almost puddle-like river. The poor fish were gasping and flailing in the shallow water. There were a lot of stray fish around the drying soil, much of them only revealing the head and bones of fish. He decided not to drink the water, as not only did he hate the thought of nasty, greedy animals drinking it, but also the thought of all of those fish dying wastefully in that poor shallow puddle. He instead turned around to look for something else. Not too far he looked upon a dead fish just sitting there on the ground. Well, it is dead, and there's no vegetation in site. Llwd thought to himself as he slowly picked up the fish and nearly swallowed it whole.
