Somaha swallowed the piece of meat that hid the pill and soon began to feel better. "Yeah. Sorry about laughing at you though. I'm not socially inept. For one, I'm male, and two at six months I was brought here after a lion attack..." He trailed off at the end, before shaking his head and coming back to the real world. "Sure, I'll show you around, follow me." He said. He gave her a tour of the area. The small cave in the middle of the enclosure that was meant for shade and still easy viewing for the guests. Then there was the single tree, the scratching post, and the rest was the open area with the small drinking pond. "That's basically it, besides this little door disguised as a tree stump to take me out to the area where I participate in a show to show the speed and beauty, or in my case, handsomeness of cheetahs." He said.

History:fell out of the nest when she was old enough to fly and parents never came back so brothers and sisters were rescued and raised in captivity
Family:parents are most likely dead,2 brothers and 2 sisters are at different zoos.
Other:small for a barred owl but still big

Strixa heard what zel said about the other owls and and swelled to twice her normal size,ill have you know i am not fat and lazy. I can be just as active as you, its just your gone somewhere else all the time and like you said the other owls are fat and lazy

Sasha walk after Somaha. "Wow this is a beautiful enclosure! This is way better then the garage and circus stalls." she said amazed. She walked over to the pond and drank. She put one foot in the water then almost instantly regretted it. She runned to the tree and lied on her side and pawed the grass around it.

He squeezed back into the bear exzibit. "Well exuse me miss barn owl! geeze ya have the ears of one! yo cant fit thrugh tat tiny hole only pigmies like me can!" he hooted. (have you ever heard an owl go hoooooooot!?)

(yes i have) im sorry,strixa said, im just a little worked up because our handler said my sister was supposed to be coming to visit but she never did come and now im a little angry and now i feel guilty for yelling at you.

Sasha saw Joe again and she started purring and ran over to him. She rub his leg and purred. "Come on guys, it's training!" he shouted and got the ropes. He put the roped over their heads and walked over to another enclosure with no animals in it.

(yes im sorta small for a barred owl)hi zel im strixa,she said squeezing through the hole and back,its no nice to have someone that will talk to me.all the other owls say im not there kind so they wont talk to me.

History: She was bred in captivity to be a "novelty" pet. She was kept in a house until a year old, then sold back to the black market and abused until the zoo rescued her.

Species: African Lion
Description/Picture:

History: He was born in a Lion Preserve in Southern Africa, and was raised by people instead of his mother because she had rejected him for his strange color. After a few years, he didn't trust any lions or lionesses. He was brought to the zoo for the breeding program when 2-1/2 years old.
Other: He loves Silver and thinks that, since they have the same pelt color, she does too.

Silver looked over at the owl and chuffed happily. Maybe this is where I belong? I won't be surprised if something horrible happens to me here too... I mean, being a pet was the best thing that happened to me, and look what happened... She shuttered as she thought about the days without food while in the cramped cage at some warehouse, after being a pampered house pet as a cub.

strixa looked at the back door of the exhibit as her handler misty was opening it,its time for you to be released back into the wild your not my little owlet anymore. what!!! Im being released she hooted but i dont want to go i want to stay.It was no use because misty couldnt understand her.she seems agitated misty,said to another handler, maybe we should put this off for another day or two.we cant the longer, she stays the more attached you'll be when its time to release her.dont i get a say in this, said strixa. I DONT WANT TO GO.and with that she flew into a near by tree and perched as far up as she could go without falling off.im not leaving this zoo ever this is this best place in the world and im not willing to give this up.

Zel who was normally tame and calm fluffed up and hissed at the handlers. "You aint takeing anyone away who doesnt want to go!" he hissed. he spread out his wings and the tiny bird no bigger then thier feet charged forward at them.

strixa was touched by the very fact that she had a friend that would go out of his way to stand up for her. she decided to save him the trouble and let out a terretorial call directed at misty and the other handler which basically said "get out".they got the message loud and clear and left quickly.
