Re: Plague Dogs (Plot RP :: Semi literate)
((OOC: I think luna was answering Aya's character. XD))
Etsu's attention flickered to 'Zula'. She blinked her eyes curiosly at her statement, curious. Friends? Wonder what that would be like... "My name is Etsu.." She answered, flicking one ear slightly. She couldn't exactly remember how she had come by the name, only that when she had first arrived at the lab, a nice whitecoat had called her that alot. But, that whitecoat had dissapeared, and after that it was hard to remember anything good. Sighing, she lifted her muzzle to sniff for any signs of the badger-bear. Better to be safe, then sorry. She relaxed when she couldn't smell anything, but the woods seemed oddly quiet. I wonder why that is... Etsu frowned slightly, sitting up and watching the treeline.

((OOC: Delta was speaking to my character.))
Ayashe tilted her head. "I asked for his name because I didn't want to call him 'kid' anymore. It's only common courtesy to do so, Zula." She nodded again, addressing the dog by her name. Eyes back on the injured dog, she frowned. "By re-opening it, that 'thing' may have made your scar two times bigger." Ayashe stood, shaking the the white snow that had accumulated on her back off onto the ground and padded forward cautiously.
"May I?" She murmured, requesting to get a closer look at her wound. She wanted to see just how deep it was and whether or not it had already become infected. "I'll leave you alone about it if I can just see how bad it is." she assured Etsu calmly with a friendly jesting smile, hoping to help. "We'll need to see if you can walk, because whatever attacked you is probably still lurking nearby." Images of a huge bear looming over her with long pointed claws poised, ready to tear them all to pieces flashed in my mind and she shivered.

"Well be friends for as long as I still breath air and even after. Now that were friends I wont ever abondond you whean your in trouble!" she smiled bravely. "No matter what got it?" she laughed happily. She glanced around the woods sniffing the air. "I wonder what that is..." she walked off nose to the ground. "Tch this is a wierd scent..." she thought aloud.

"No, you can check it. It does hurt alot." Etsu murmered. She shivered at the memory of the bear thing, and the odd scent it seemed to have. The faint scent that had rubbed off on her had already been supressed, but the blood scent was still quite strong. She watched as Zulu sniffed around, and frowned at the silence. It shouldn't be this quiet... maybe the bear has something to do with this. Etsu knew she was still in a dangerous area. They had to get moving soon, and a shoulder that risked infection was bad enough. Hopefully we won't starve as well.

"Aha! I got it!" she trotted back over. "Its... I have no idea!" she laughed. "But it smells terrible wonder if its infected." She siad not the least bit afraid. she sat down. "Also I prefer being called the demon by all but my friend!" she laughed. "Im just kidding ya know! this silence is killing..." she flicked her ear frowning. Somethings comeing.

Re: Plague Dogs (Plot RP :: Semi literate)
Ayashe nodded towards Zula. "I agree. I've never been in a place so eerily quiet. It's like everything is just...gone." Her eyes scanned the clearing, expecting something to leap out and shatter the hold silence had on the land. She shook the thoughts away and nodded to Etsu before padding forwards to stand at her shoulder and studied it. She clenched her teeth at the vile smell, instantly hating the creature who bestowed this burden upon Etsu. The gash wasn't deep, but it was ragged and obviously caused by an animal much larger than either of them. The flesh around it was cool to the touch as Ayashe gently nudged it, so it wasn't infected and all of the blood that had crusted around it had been licked away, leaving the wound clean and open. Aya stepped back and said, "If you keep it clean, you'll most likely pull through without anything to show but a slightly bigger scar than the one you had before. You'll need not exert yourself too much, but I think we can cover a comfortable distance if we go now. Can you walk, or should we wait?"

Zula stood up slowly. "Close your eyes bud it can see em." she whisperd. "Everyone stay low and stay quiet and it might not notice you." she had her eyes fixed on the trees. Zula could see something large moving around in the dark. she stalked off in a direction staying downwind from the creature. she walked over behind it. Zula leaped into the air nerrowly missing the bears neck. She gasped as she was swatted back into view.

Re: Plague Dogs (Plot RP :: Semi literate)
Etsu stood up, slightly shaky. She tested her paw and found it was only a little sore; not too bad. "I can walk." She said, relieved. But I doubt I could run very fast. She glanced up at the sun which seemed to be steadily rising- which meant her eyes wouldn't glow too badly. Then she would'nt have to worry about giving them away. "But... why do you think its so... quiet?" She questioned, glancing around with her pale blue eyes to catch sight of anything. Food would probably be hard to come by; and hunting was out of the question for a dog with an injured leg. When Zulu told her to close her eyes, she stiffened, and did as she was told. She was used to sensing things in the dark- that at least she could thank the lab for. She was instantly overwhelmed by an odd, almost rotting scent: similar to the one when she was attacked. Sickness? She yelped when she heard Zulu get hit, unsure what to do.

Re: Plague Dogs (Plot RP :: Semi literate)
Ayashe went rigid, eyes wide and fur bristling. It looked like Etsu's question would not be answered in words. The wind carried a scent so abnormal and unearthly, it set her on end. For a moment, all was quiet... She held her stance, teeth bared and a low growl easing from her throat. Suddenly, Zula stalked into the darkness ever so quietly until she was out of sight. The silence continued for no longer than a second before everything exploded. Ayashe barked out loud in surprise and snarled louder, backing away. Zula was flung back into the clearing and she landed hard, sending up a flurry of snow. Without thinking, Ayashe launched herself forward to help her and skidded to a halt as the creature revealed itself. It was at least six feet tall on hind legs. The creature dropped to it's paws and snarled at the dogs as it lumbered forward. Ayashe was frozen in fear. This animal had a crazed look about it, and it's body...It was hardly to be considered whole. Bones gleamed in the sunlight and mangled flesh hung from it's sides. It was all but dead. Ayashe got a hold of herself and snapped out an order to Zula, who had already flung herself at the bear again. She wasn't leaving Zula behind. "We have to go! There's no point in fighting it!" she cried desperately, hoping Zula would agree.

Re: Plague Dogs (Plot RP :: Semi literate)
Delta shook his head, the intense silence had caused him to space out. It reminded him too much of the lab, the tests... He turned and started walking. He could feel the tension in the air, and he was happy to be moving again. That is, until anything resembling happiness was suddenly whisked away. A putrid smell filled his nostrils. It had undertones of bear, but that was hidden under something disgusting, something... sickly. He saw the creature, and let out a drawn out yelp in horror, before reeling back. Eyes glanced around to see where the others were. Although terror was prompting him to run far, far, as fast as he could, he didn't want to leave the others. He dashed back, but skidded to a stop, not wanting to stray to far from his new companions.

Re: Plague Dogs (Plot RP :: Semi literate)
(Awesome. :D I hate sleeping in and missing pages and pages. xD I'll probably retire after this one.)
Delta let out a yelp as he slammed into something, sure it was certain doom. Looking up however, he saw a familiar face. "I'm not sure. I got a bit disoriented in the chaos." He glanced around, searching for a sign of the others. His nose picked up a whiff of blood. "I think Etsu is this way, I smell her wound." He frowned, it was reminiscent of the monster from earlier. Still, he was certain it was her. Canine undertones mingled in the scent, and it was more natural than that of the creature. He padded cautiously towards where her scent led, hoping Ayashe was there too.
