Hm, rather nice. It was a little fast-paced for me and you could use a bit more detail in some areas(maybe just describing fur colors or how some elk's eyes shined brighter than the others) but it was really good. The different colors helped quite a bit, and made it easier to read.
Good luck for your next story. I'll definitely be reading that. c;
