Rike fell on his face, a whimper escaping his throat as he hit the ground. He stood up with a growl, "Will you stop being mean!" he snarled in a harsh tone,in a dominant position over his sister.

"Im not being mean your just jeolus that im better then you." stands dominant over Rike. She growls at him stareing him straight in the eye.

Rike bared his teeth, "I'm not jealous of you because you just a snooty show off!" he shouted before lunging at her muzzle to clamp down on it and shake it viciously.

She starts crying and hides behind des. "Daddy Rike bit me!" she sobbed and whean des wasnt looking she stuck out her toung at Rike.

Rike growled in annoyance at his sister, and disappeared into the den to escape her taunting and teasing. He laid down facing the back of the den, her words ringing over and over in his head. "Shes right, she is better than I am. I am pathetic and weak." he thought softly out loud to himself, growling angered with himself. He was the runt of the litter and his two sisters had been stronger and faster than he was. "Stupid feet." he muttered at his long clumsy feet he was always tripping over. He whined softly, hurt by Imagine's words.

"Daddy Im going to be alpha someday ok! So dont let anyone steal your rnk till then." smiles up at him happly.

Mook entered the den site quietly looking around to see who was here. She decided to lay in the shade of a nearby tree after her long run from the hole Ruby and Kouv where in.

"I know I'm no alone, and I know you didn't like me fighting Des. but you have to remember that this is what happens in a pack. It's not like we were try-to-kill-eachother-fighting, yes there were some injurys, but I would rather have them from Des than anyone else, because he has always been like like a father and brother in one to me. I'm sure he didn't want to hurt me and I didn't want to hurt him, but hings go that way sometimes and at least that fight was good practice for later on in life. "he said, calmly, "Look, Ruby, remember the time when you were a pup and I got my ister to bring your mother back for a few minutes? Well that was because I loved you and hated seeing you upset, and now I hate seeing you upset again, because this time I love you even more so, however not like a brother this time." he said the last words in a rush, his eyes fixed to the floor.

she looked confused at him. "So thats it eh?" she looked away. "I... I dont like you that way... thats why were fighting. We never fought this way before now. Think hard Kovu your too old for me." she smiled at him hopeing that wouldnt make him angry. "I have always thought of you as my big brother and I always will ok?"she hoped she didnt sound to mean.

Des looked at his daughter with a scolding face.She was to big now to pick up so he turned his head to face her.''Go apologize to your brother!He is your only brother so be nice to him.Besides you cant you whimper behind your dad in a real fight for dominance?When you Ruby,Rike,and Kovu fight for dominance when your older I won't be there to make them stop hunting you.Someone has to win.''Des sighed thinking about his plans for Rike's future.So far he had planned on Rike beating Kovu,Ruby,and his sisters and going on to mate with the Older wolf Mook a nice choice or the young Ruby another nice choice.But he knew that they might not feel the same way about Alpha female and reject the responsibility.Des sighed and turned to Imagine.''Go apologize and I'll take you guys hunting.''Des said with a forced smile not wanting his baby's to grow up.

"Everybody fights sometimes" he replied, however when she carried on, he couldn't think of anything else to say, where was he going wrong? First Night and now Ruby, "Your not that much younger, but I understand" he muttered sadly, he then slowly turned and started to walk back to the Den Site. He cleared the river in a running leap then when he landed, his ears flicekred to the sound of Des, Rike and Imagine. He carried on running so that he could talk to Des, he was about to push through the bushes when he saw Imagine and Rike play fighting. He smiled at the funny scene of them trying to get one over each other, however then frowned as Imagine started being mean and trying to frame Rike for biting her, suddenly a memory seeped into Kovus mind, he was with his three other siblings, he was the smallest, the runt, they were all mean to him, apart from one of his 2 sisters, Niamh, the one he had kept near to for all these years. He remembered his siblings making fun of him for his lack of skills, when they were wrestling and tumblign about together, he would cower away in the corner or by his mother, Arizona, hoping they wouldn't try to make him join in. He snapped back to reality, thankful that he'd had the determination to develop the skills he had now, he pushed through the bushes, and crept towards Des in a submissive stance. "Des, I am sorry for the injurys I gave you and for the fact that I didn't think before charging head long into a fight with no experience and in front of the pups, I came to say this and that I wouldn't be suprised if you made mean Omega but I wish to have a rank in the pack now that I'm nearly an adult." However as he said this, the teenage wolf looked much younger than he was, the shame and guilt seeming to have shrinked him.

Des sighed in the decision of his rank.Making him Beta would be a good choice but Draco was stronger and he did not want to reward poor behavior.But Omega?Omega's could make things out of Themselves.Des looked at Night and Smiled.''You are an Omega till you can prove yourself worthy of Beta or even Alpha.''

Kovus sagged slightly and a sigh almost escaped him when Des made him an Omega, however he stopped himself, no, he would take it all in his stride, whatever Des threw at him, he had to prove himself. Thought ran wild in his mind, he was unsure wether this was a goodor bad thing, being n omega was horrible, he had seent he way some were treated, always being last, the pack can do whatever they want to you, hwoever he thought of how Night had become Alpha female, and Des said if he proved himself, he could be Beta, or maybe even Alpha. Finally, Kovu straightened and nodded his head, his face and voice serious, "Of course, I shall take responsibility for my actions and prove myself worthy, I promise I won't let you down!" he was about to turn away, when he remembered the scene of Rike and Imagine from earlier, "I was wondering, may I take Des to the clearing to teach him some things? Of course, I understand that an Omega may no be worthy of teaching an Alphas pups," he said, lowering his head slightly in a show of submission, as he knew alot of Omegas were supposed to.

Des thought about it.It would be good to let them socialize.Des finally looked at Kovu.Des put his tail in the air like a flag and nodded at him.''I'm going hunting.It would help you earn my respect by watching them.''Des walked into the woods and began sniffing out the smell of a Stag.
