Icestar woke the next morning to find rain pounding on the medicine cats den. She grunted. Icestar turned her focus back to herself. She got to her paws, and arched her back in a long stretch. She sat down, and began to lick her chest fur. She froze.
Her stomach was swollen, huge with kits. ( I'm pregnant?!) Icestar thought, terrified. ( Who could the father be? RedPool? Possibly not. He can't have a mate! But who was the father?) Icestar was shocked, and scared. She was shocked to find out she was pregnant, and scared because she never had kits before. "RedPool! " she yowled. " Please wake up! I.. I think I'm pregnant!"

(Niallz, if you're an a apprentice then you'd be Shadowpaw. Sorry, Redpaw, for correcting you. Also, Jezibel, I don't think pregnancy just happens over night. Especially if she is as far along as described. ((I know Im a know-it-all...)).)
Dogtooth came into the camp late, bearing with her a few mice, the rabbit, and a thrush. She put them in the small freshkill pile and took something to eat herself.

Welcome to the clan, Shadowpaw. Your mentor will be DogTooth. Is that ok with you Dogtooth?
And yes, I was over- reacting. I was just afraid that I was pregnant because my stomach was swollen. It's probably becAuse I ate too much.

*Icestar padded out of the medicine cats den, dazed and confused. She looked at the fresh kill pile, and her mouth watered. She was starving, but she had to hunt first. Icestar padded to the entrance, and padded into the lush pines. She opened her mouth, and tasted the air.
Rabbit.....mouse...thrush...rat
Icestar spotted the thrush first. It was sitting on a rotting log. She dropped into a hunters crouch, and stalked towards it. Since she has a white pelt, she would have to stay close to the ground. Icestar kept forward, and right before she could pounce on it, it let out a shreaking call, and flew to the tree tops above. "Mouse dung" she spat to herself.

She padded back to camp with 2 mice, a plump water vole, an adult rabbit, a blackbird, and a small salmon.
Icestar walked through the entrance, and saw Dogtooth training with Shadowpaw, and RedPool sorting herbs in his den. She layed her items on the fresh kill pile. "Morning RedPool" as she padded over to him. "Morning Dogtooth and Shadowpaw." Icestar waved her tail*

(Yup, that's fine with me.)
"Morning Icestar," she said. Dogtooth looked over her new apprentice, Shadowpaw. He'd be a good little warrior soon enough. "Well, good morning Shadowpaw," Dogtooth decided to get training, "I think we'll start with hunting today. C'mon,"

Icestar padded to the river, and saw salmon swimming in the cold, clear water. She pounced, and landed on the fish. She dug her claws into its side, and drug it out of the river. It was huge! She bite it's neck, killing it. She dragged it to the fresh kill pile, and layed it down. Icestar walked back to the river, and Took a long drink. When she lifted her head, water dripped from her muzzle.
Icestar padded from the river to the medicine cats den. On her way, she saw Dogtooth and Shadowpaw escape to the entrance. Icestar padded into Redpools den, and saw him sleeping in his nest. (what's gotten into him?) she thought to herself. RedPool was always sleeping in his nest. Icestar padded to his nest, and ran her tail down his spine. She licked his cheek, and padded to her den. She saw the fresh kill pile, and she had to grab something. She grabbed the smallest mouse from the pile. (I hope this will sooth the hunger).
She gulped it down faster than you can say "mouse".
Clanmates must come first.
That's that.

Dogtooth led her new apprentice to a clearing in the forest. "Now, get low to the ground, listen carefully, what do you hear?" She hoped he would notice the loud scrabbling of a water vole nearby.

Icestar padded after after Dogtooth, silently. She watched Dogtooth train Shadowpaw. Dogtooth was doing really well.
( Maybe Dogtooth can be deputy......)

Icestar padded to the medicine cats den, only to find RedPool asleep. She purred, and nuzzled him in the cheek. She ran her tail under his him, and down his spine. Icestar licked his cheek, and ran out in the woods to find Dogtooth and Shadowpaw.
She found them heartbeats later.
"Dogtooth" she called. "Can you come here,please?"
