Soro nodded. "You see, you aren't like your siblings. Your siblings are meant for hunting animals. Your meant for "hunting" eggs." He said, watching as the yolk seeped out onto the sand.

"But I still want to hunt like my siblings""he said he was getting the gang of this talking thing.Then Evo had an idea"bring me a furry thing"

Soro dissapeared again and a few minutes later, had a rodent with all four of its legs broken thanks to his hand claws. He dropped it in front of his "son" and watched as it lay there and made sounds of pain.

Evo bit its neck as hard as he could and then jerked it to one side making it make a snapping noise the rodent stopped breathing

"Interesting technique," Rip commented.

"Now, that's not a bad idea...The problem is, that our types of prey are...well...let's just say that you'll have trouble getting to the neck..." Soro said.

"But I can do the same to other bones too"he replied

Soro thought for a second. "Well...actually...it's hard to get close to them at all..." Soro muttered, not so much to Evo but just as if thinking out loud.

"Oh"Evo said, he was sad that he would never get to use his new technique

"BUT!!! I never said it was impossible." Soro added. "If that were true...There'd be no velociraptors."

"Why?"he asked

Shale sat up slowly, muscles screaming in protest. "It's alright, Evo. I wasn't as good at hunting as my siblings... but I managed." he said with an unsure smile, shaking the dust from his feathers.

"We wouldn't have food in our bellies and we'd all be dead." Soro said. "That's why we work together, to take down prey that we couldn't be able to hunt alone.

"Oh"Evo said he was ok with the fact that he was different and was proud that he was different now

"We'll see how it works out when you're older." Soro said, nodding. It would really depend on how big Evo got, and if his beak could fit around a protoceratops' or prenochepalae's neck.
