He coughed awkardly, eyebrows raised. "Need help with anything?" La'keem asked curiously with a tilt of his head.

Zahra somewhat blushed when he asked if she needed any help "No, I don't think so." she then realized she hasn't checked on the cub for quite some time. Worried, she decided she should try to get back to the cub without him following "I should be going now" she said, trying not to show that she's worried.

He nodded hesitantly, noticing her distressed and worried expression. "Alright. Sorry to bother you." The young male said, eyebrows pulling downward in a worried frown.
La'keem turned around with a barely audible sigh and bounded off the path.

She watched him bound off. She knew he meant no harm, but she was still cautious. She checked th air, checking for any more unexpected surprises. Nothing else really, except for the regular smells of the forest. She turned around and started limping towards where she last left the cub.

La'keem sighed softly to himself, walking through the dense foliage. He stared down at the ground under his paws, not really watching wherr he was heading.

Zahra reached where she last left the cub, and she looked around to make sure nothing was following her before she went in. Not seeing anything, except for a few birds, she limped in and looked for the cub in the rocky outcrop. Not being able to find the cub, she started panicking and she started calling out for the cub. Even though the cub wasn't hers, she still felt like it was hers. She started limping off in a random direction, hoping to find the cub and still calling out for it.

Hearing a soft mew near-by, he hesitantly started towards the sound. "Hello?" Keem asked in a worried voice. The male stopped in his tracks when the same sound rose from underneath him. He yelped out an surprized sound at the small cub that looked up at him with wide eyes.

Zahra was even more worried. She hasn't heard the cub answer her desperate calls. She frantically started searching in another direction, calling for the cub, not really paying attention to anything except for looking for the cub.

La'keem's ears pricked at the sound of the scared cries of... That female? Yes, that was her! "Hello?" He called, gravely voice sounding all-too-loud in the eerily quiet jungle.

Cuxtal excitedly pounced on the large males paw. He was having a great adventure, and had no idea he was in danger. He then heard the worried calls of his mother, and he looked back up at the larger male, then back towards where the calls came from.

Zahra was just about to search in another direction when she heard when she suddenly heard a "Hello?" She knew that sounded familiar, but to her this was no time to think about it. She quickly limped towards the sound, stopping when she caught sight of them- There was Cuxtal! But right next to him, she saw the male she ran into earlier. Not sure what he'd do, she took another step forward.

La'keem stared blankly for a moment before he looked down at the cub. "Go to your mother." He said, looking up again. "I found him." The male said unsurely.

Cuxtal looked back up at the male when he told him to go back to his mother. He obeyed, and ran towards his mother, quickly attempting to pounce on her legs.


Zahra watched as Cuxtal came running towards her and almost made her fall when he pounced on her legs. She then heard the male, and looked back up at him "Uh... Thanks" She said, not sure what to say. She then looked back towards Cuxtal and licked his ear, glad to have him back.
