Solar's eyes lit up at her proposal. "Oh, me either. Been living off rabbits and muskrats for months now. Takes the spice right out of life, let me tell you." If wasn't so much the taste he craved; truth be told, carnivore flesh usually tasted rather foul. The hunt was always so much funner, though; they were so much more entertaining to take down and dissect than herbivores. "I'm not feeling too picky at the moment, whatever you feel like, or whatever we come across first." He suggested. He raised his nose to the air and sniffed. A swirl of indistinct scents filled the air; wolves in all direction, Some mustelid off to the south, a whiff of bear blood somewhere to his west...

(It amuses me to see carnivores hunt carnivores. I know this may be possible in reality but I have never heard of such a strange diet.... )

Kazimo stared at the other male- Solaris, was it?- in slight mystification. True, he had always wondered what the blood of a meat-eater tasted like, but neither he nor Tasor had ever tasted it.
At least not willingly.
The red furred male hesitated for a moment, watching as the female nodded excitedly and began to smell the air. "What's... carnivore meat taste like?"
"Silly Kip. You told me to try it out long ago, remember?" Insert the bone-chilling giggle. "It's like taboo. So exciting to do, and you get this rush knowing most don't like it..." She paused before her words turned darker and angrier. "At least, that's what my mother used to say. She made me miss out on it for almost a year before she got fed up with me."
Kazimo watched as Cashew's mood visibly darkened, and decided to change the subject. "Oh... I see. Then, what do you two want to hunt?" He asked slightly timidly. It was clear the other two didn't really care about his opinion; if anything, he was their pet to drag around. Kazimo had no problem with fighting his way out of a situation he had no wishes to be a part of, but he doubted he would be able to take on two wolves who liked the taste of carnivore and get away unhurt. His guilty mind would get in the way of harming the female, seeing as her mind wasn't all that right, and the male...
Well, Solaris was big looking. The same size as Kazimo, if not larger- a rare feat indeed.
"I was thinking something... small." Cashew muttered while sniffing, eyes narrowed in a half thoughtful, half crazed look. "A bear would do nicely- but I'm feeling lazy today. Why don't we raid a fox nest?" She suggested excitedly, glancing at Solaris subconsciously for approval.

Solar swayed his tail idly, staring off into the woods. "Personally I think the taste leaves a bit to be desired- almost impure. Living off deer and rabbits for months on end, though, you welcome the difference it brings..." He glanced at Cash, finding her sudden mood changes interesting.
He brightened at her suggestion. "Sounds lovely to me, I can't say I'm adverse to avoiding expending any extra effort."
He raised his sensitive nose skyward, searching for any trace of that warm pup smell. "Any idea which direction we should go?" he inquired to his new-found 'friends'.
He grinned, today was going quite well. Met some interesting people, and now he was going to dine with his companions. He might even forgive the lack of a good fight- this Cashi character was more than interesting enough to make up for it.

"West." Came the confident reply from a certain she-wolf, tail raised in glee as she started trotting in a random direction.
It probably wasn't actually west- but no one else really needed to know that.
"This doesn't feel like going west..." Came the grumble from Kazimo, who followed the she-wolf glumly. He could probably try to get away while she was distracted with finding food, but that would probably end up with her causing even more trouble with his new pack.
Cashew sniffed the air, trotting through the dense trees. To her right she was sure to be the marshy area she had come from; to her left she could hear wind.
And straight ahead, she could smell the scent of upturned dirt.
A den.
The she-wolf sped up to a gallop, coming to a quick halt outside a sandy burrow and sniffed harder- she could smell the stale but still very strong scent of badger, making her gag.
But under that was the warm scent of milk- even if it was a bit old- and something young.
An abonded den, with living creatures inside.
She let a dark smile creepy up her face and whisked inside, ignoring the frantic questions that were dulled to a buzz behind her. Her blood-lust was more important.

Solar glanced upwards, judging the sun's position in the sky. No, it certainly didn't look like west. He rolled his shoulders in a shrug, it was probably best to just go with the flow right now. He studied their surroundings as they walked, suddenly looking ahead as he caught sight of the female breaking into a gallop. He kept up his casual pace, arriving at the mound of sandy soil just behind the other two. 'This doesn't smell like a fox nest to me.' He thought idly. Not that he cared much, he was getting hungry, anything would do. He glanced over at Kaz, who seemed to be in a bit of a panic right now, before heading into the den after Cash.

His pupils expanded as his eyes adjusted to the musty darkness of the den. The musky scent of badger flooded his nostrils, though he could also detect undertones of warm fur and dried milk. He flicked his ears- it was mostly silent, just the sound of his and Cashew's breathing, but if he strained his hearing he could also detect quiet, weak whimpers. He glanced downwards, eyes soon settling on the small, furred forms huddled against the wall of the den. These were no fox pups. He glanced over to Cashi, wanting to give her the first selection. Ladies first, after all; manners were one thing he always tried to mind.

Cashew pushed her ears forward, hearing the scuffling and small whimpers from the pile. 1... 2... 3... 4. Four were in front of her, and out of the corner of her eye she saw a fifth black pup- it looked sickly and she soon brushed it off. Harming a sickly pup was merely asking to be sick herself.
"C-Cashikiru, these are wolf pups. Let's leave before the mom gets back." Kazimo stuttered out.
"Quiet, coward. If you're going to be with me, you're gonna have to learn to suck it up and get a little blood on you every once in a while."
Her words were strangely emotionless, and Kazimo glanced behind him to see Solaris- he was clearly trapped. "You don't mean... eat them do you? Their our brethren!" He spoke loudly, his voice sharp against the silence of his comrades and the quiet murmurings of the pups.
"Of course I do. The strongest survive, and the weak struggle until someone puts them out of their misery. Question is, Kip- are you gonna be weak, or one of the strong?" Her last sentence was accompanied with her turning her head to him, allowing the red furred male to see the twisted smile and dilated pupils, the madness and bloodlust strewn across her face like a sick jigsaw puzzle.
He could feel the need to run or puke, but held it in and stared back defiantly. "I'm not weak." Sorry, Mother. Sorry, Tas.
Cashew let out a purr like sound, not unlike the one Kazimo unconsciously made. It was obviously one of approval before she asked. "Then let us begin the initiation."
Her words were the only warning the green eyes had before they clamped shut, blocking out the image he could already see as he heard a distinct crush of bones and the squeal of a young animal in pain. He felt something splatter against his muzzle, and slitted his cat-green eyes open enough to know that the warm liquid was blood.
In front of him, the she-wolf was shaking a small grey bundle wildly, it's screeches already cut off to be replaced with aurora of death.

Solar watched the exchange between the two with an unreadable expression on his face. He quickly ducked out of the way for a moment as Cashikiru grabbed the first pup, not wanting to dirty his fur at the moment. He waiting for her to busy herself with her quarry before making his own selection. They were all quite scrawny and small, there wasn't any point of being picky. He lifted a dark ruddy-colored one delicately with his jaws, before snapping them shut sharply. Clean, efficient, fast. The little creature was small enough for him to swallow in one go, which he did immediately, licking his chops afterwards and looking around.

(Where are you guys in the map? Is it close to Lupis' den, cause if it is... could Ruby somehow find them?)

Lupis slowly began to sit up after a while, staring at the doe Ruby seemed to have caught herself. "Thank you Ruby." He said calmly, clearing his throat before digging in. He was horribly hungry to be honest, but he tried not to look like it. He felt like he could eat the whole thing, or at least half of it. After eating his fill, Lupis lay near Knero and Ruby, giving her another pleasing thank you and Knero a lick on the forehead.

Ruby nodded and lied on her paws staring at the entrance of the den. She was as responsible as ever, a young and vulnrable cub and a tired, injured, and weak adult. She stared outside, feeling watched and haunted. Every once in awhile she thought she heard a rustle or a snap of a branch. She shook her head and told herself she was dreaming. Ruby turned her head and watched Knero for abit before falling asleep watching Lupis.
