"I have a bad history with those things," she replied.

Soro nodded. "Ah." He said.

Rip looked around nervously again, then got up. "Come on, we need to finish patroling,"

[dinoman]

"I don't want to press at your past, but I just want to guess...You almost became lunch for one before you hatched, didn't you?" He asked her.

[Grep42]

"I was the lucky one. I''m an only child," she replied with a sad expression. Rip shook her head, she didn't want to remember the day she hatched.

Soro blinked many times. "I'm sorry to hear that." He muttered.

[Grep42]

She nuzzled Soro. "That's the past, this is now. Let's worry about now," she said.

[dinoman]

Soro couldn't help but crack a small smile when Rip nuzzled him. "I think I like now." He said and returned the nuzzle.

Rip smilled and got up. "Me too, it's getting late, lets just go home," she replied.

Soro nodded and jogged back to the den, crawling inside and curling up.

Rip had trouble sleeping that night, she couldnt stop thinking about oviiraptors or other dangers. She even, once, saw Soro as a threat.

Soro woke up from Rip's nightmares. He crawled over to her and lay down next to her, nuzzling into her as well.

Rip curled closer to Soro. She felt better, remembering he was by her side. She didn't exactly sleep soundly all night, but she did get some rest. In the morning, she woke up later than Soro, which was odd for her.

Soro woke up and looked down at Rip. He nuzzled her before crawling out of the den and running to the carcass from the other day. An oviraptor was scavenging and Soro kileld it despite that it tried to run. He ate his fill of the surprisingly large amount of meat left on the carcass, before he grabbed as much as he could from it and carried it back to the den, setting it down near the entrance for Rip.

Rip blinked slowly and yawned. Must have breakfast she thought, climbing to the entrance and snapping the meat.
