Skyeler saw sleepiness in the wolf, though she was wide awake. It was strange how things worked. Then she thought of something. "I will let this squirrel off the hook for now, but if it irritates me again, it's as good as dead." she told them, and flew back to her hole. She tore off a piece of bark and made a quick sketch on it. She then began gathering rocks, vines, sticks, and vegitation. This was going to work.

Shadow was supprised bu the sudden retreat bu the owl, she watched as the owl flew away what are you up to feather brain?...

Sand yawned, looking around her. She could smell wolf, owl, squirrel and...Some sort of animal mixed with a wolf outside, but they weren't nearby. Scuttling out of the hole, Sand quickly ate some conveniently nearby seeds, and suddenly smelt fox. Grabbing one of the seeds in her mouth, Sand ran back into her hole. The fox peered into the hole. The fox smelt of sickness, disease. Suddenly she felt horror.Diseases could easily spread, and Scuttle or herself could get it. Shivering with fear, Sand swallowed the seed in her mouth and went to sleep.

Let this be a kind of warning to you all. You could get the disease the fox had, and this disease is hard to cure. I shall be controlling the disease.

((Gullible Scuttle. She's been accepting so many weird things lately, she's believing everything. Peh.))

"What? Really?" Scuttle's mouth dropped open, and she clapped for paws together delightedly. "For real? I'm off the hook?!" She giggled, grinned, and pumped a fist in the air, jumping up. "Yes!!!" she crowed. Scuttle bounced around on her toes, cheering. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!"

Yay! The owl wasn't going to eat her anymore. Heehee...! "WOOHOO! IIIIIIII'm FREE!" This was great! She felt so relieved that this persistent predator wasn't after her anymore.

Wow. Guess Scuttle knew what an elk feels like, with a wolf tracking it relentlessly for days until it collapses. Except the wolf - ahem, owl, let her off the hook! (Finally!)

Ahhh, celebrating made her hungry... she popped a couple berries and a seed into her mouth. "Thanks, Shadow," she cheerfully garbled through a mouthful of food.

Shadow smiled "your welcome my furry friend, But Im sure nova would like a thanks too. Im REALLY not certain if that pesky owl has given up...... Is it just me or can you smell a Fox?... And a Mouse!?"

Skyeler began weeving vines together, and adding rocks to the corners. The bait was at the bottom of the tree. Acorns, berries, moss, seeds and bugs. She put the sticks on the ground where a bird may come to make a nest. Once the net was done, she waited, ate some coffee beans, and waited more.

Scuttle sniffed, then covered her nose quickly. "Ewwww, what is that smell?! I can smell sickness and death, aaaand... SAND? Sand! Sand! Omigosh!" Scuttle, quick as a flick, started scurrying over to where the fresh fox stench was. There was no fox in sight. A hole was nearby. Maybe Sand's home. Maybe not. But it smelled of disease, so she didn't go near it, afraid of catching death. "Sand! SAAAND!" she started calling out. "Where are you?!" She looked worriedly around.

"Come on out!!!" she begged. Scuttle really hoped that the disgusting disease-stench wasn't coming from her mouse-friend.

Shadow ran after scuttle, scared the owl could get her "Hey! Whay ate you doing you crazy squrrel!?" Shadow listend what she was saying "sand?,whos this sand? I can certainly smell a Mouse and the sick Fox.... Jump up on me, you dont wanna catch it! Sand?!, hello? You are sand right? Come out! Hurry!"

Sand scuttled out rather quickly. "What is it?!" She squeaked, worried

Shadow backed away as sand came out " are you infected? " she made sure to look around in case the infected fox was near " scuttle thinks you are ill... Well? Are you? Is there a cure?!"

[Foxesrule]

"I'm not infected and there's no cure I know of. The fox has gone now anyway."

[Mindy]

Scuttle smiled, relieved. "The fox was what I had been worried about, mostly. It's great that you're not sick." She jumped over and hugged her friend. "YAY Sand!" she squeaked gleefully, then let go. "So, what were ya doin' since last time I saw you? Which was... oh." she blushed, rubbing the back of her head. "Ah. It's still night, isn't it... sorry for waking you up with my hollering..."

Shadow laughed " well, Im glad we had this little reunion But we MUST get back to camp... Hop on i guess " and lowerd herself so the mouse and squirell could get on

[Foxesrule]

"It's alright, I wasn't asleep anyway." Sand glanced nervously at the wolf, hesitating, and then clambered on it's back.

[Mindy]

Scuttle almost laughed. Why should she get on a wolf's back? What camp? They were all free-roaming creatures! No permanent settlement anywhere! Then she realized before even opening her mouth that it was night, and 'camp' was a place to sleep together so that they'd all be safe. She shrugged. Camping together was sensible. And this was a free ride. "Sure." She clambered onto Shadow's back, laying out on her belly and gripping the fur with her paws tightly. Ready.

She closed her eyes. It was dark out, anyway.
