She turned to dire. " Would you and some friends like to join my pack? The alpha is gone for now..." She paused thinking of her mate, " He is as good as dead."
She smiled and shook the water off her fur. " What do you say?"

Dire's eyebrows arched slightly, and he looked at Kyle, who looked like he was getting bored with the whole thing. "Alpha wouldn't like it if I left," Dire muttered.
Kyle laughed harshly, "he'd hate it actually. Probably kill you..." Dire flinched at he comment. "And you little female here, just for suggesting it." He raised his tail and bared his teeth, eyeing her before adding "That is, if I don't do it first."

She stared at the wolf, her eyes like a sheet of ice. " In my whole life, sir, I have never seen as big of a - Removed by Summer- retard as you." she turned to Dire. " You do what you wan't to because once you join my pack, Ummm... Nico won't be you alpha. I will." She said, kindness radiating her eyes

Lupis smiled back, although fighting back the hesitation in his words. What's his name?! He yelled in his head at himself. He looked at the pup, then looked back into Ruby's eyes.
".... Knero." He suddenly replied, almost half unsure. His eyes then lightened as he looked back at the pup, feeling better about his sudden decision. He watched the Guardians looking intently at Ruby. One of the guardians left the fawn Lupis had killed at the back of the cave. They do this to keep the scent of fresh kill from spreading too far out of the cave, especially when it's a good meal. "Let her stay. She is of no harm." He stood to meet the guardians, them hesitating to nod and turn away out of the cave.
"I'm highly guarded, but it's easy to tell that you're not bad or part of a pack. Well, pack members can visit here but they can't be let out of sight unless they leave the cave." At first he was talking directly to Ruby, but then his mind trailed off and he felt like he was talking to himself again. Details, details.

Dire frowned deeply and moved closer to the female before looking at Kyle. "Well... bye. guess I'm going with her." he said calmly, and Kyle let out a growl before turninf tail and running back the way he came. "We should go," he whispered to her.

She smiled at him, " Ok. Do have any Ideas as to what rank you want?" she asked nicley.

"Isn't that up to... alphas?" He questioned, following after the she-wolf.

She turned so fast she got dizzy. Her eyes burnt with tears. " No it is not. It is my job. The alpha is gone he left me. So you dont have to worry about that, honey." she said with fake sweetness. She turned back around and proceeded in walking.

He blinked slowly, trying to process what she had said. "Sorry to hear that." Dire mumbled, warily following her and not wanting her to flip out on him again.

Dire nodded sadly and stared down at the grass as they walked, a slight frown on his face.

she instantly felt a pang of guilt. " So have you ever had pups?"

He glaced up to her face with a shake of his head, walking around the thin pine treea. "No. only alphas were allowed to have pups... and as a loner there was no one around to... uh, have pups with."
