Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
Ravenfeather doesn't notice the rustling, so he keeps on going, leading Nik and Kin to the hidden entrance. He stops at the wall of brambles and other undergrowth that surrounds the camp and flicks his tail at a small opening. "Go on ahead, see for yourself."
((OOC: Sorry his part is short.))
--
Atlas stops and crouches when he hears the group halt. His ears perk when he hears the she-cat say something about a camp and he inhales. Atlas is surprised by the sudden bombardment to his senses. So many cats have been here! He feels excitement run up his spine and suddenly the tom is ready to burst out of the bushes and happily introduce himself and beg to join their clan. Maybe if he just...
His brown paw reaches forward and slowly, inch by inch, he gets closer. Just when he thinks all is going well-
"INTRUDER!" A shrill voice cries, and suddenly he's pounced on. "Got'cha," Dawnpaw growls, her green eyes glittering as she clings to the tom's back. For a moment Atlas is in a panic. He leaps forward, into the open. Dawnpaw loses her grip but lands steadily on all fours and glares at the tom, paying no attention to her brother, Nik, or Kin. "What were you planning to do? Steal prey? Oh! Or maybe murder Firestar!" she hisses, looking like a burr with her fur all fluffed up and tail lashing. Atlas picks himself up and frowns at the kit. "Firestar? I don't even know who that is? Is he your Alpha?" The tom backs away from the group and looks at them, clearly confused.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
(i'm gonna start a war if that's okay XD, it's going to be Windclan and Riverclan teaming up to attack Thunderclan. You guys can choose your allies.
)
Acornpaw leaped from the rock. He saw Leopardstar and some of her senior warriors walking silently towards Windclan territory. Acornpaw sniffed the air and swiftly ran toward them. He kept his distance even though his scent was possibley already detected. Leopardstar stopped and looked around. The warriors kept walking and Leopardstar stalked towards Acornpaw.
"Acornpaw, I know your there." she called, about fifteen fox lengths away. "Come out, you are a brave and noble apprentice. I acutally consider making a warriors early. You may travel with us, your deserve to know what's going on." she grinned and walked closer to the apprentice. Acornpaw bowed his head then looked up to his leader. Leopardstar licked his forhead then quickly ran back to her warriors while they wait patiently for their master. Acornpaw hesitated then looked back to the camp. He had three choices, to run back to the camp, run far away, or join his leader. He sighed and followed. He wasn't willing to make a fool out of himself again.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
(Sweet! Can I play as Onestar a bit again? It'd be cool if the medicine cat picked up some sort of warning about it too d: haha.)
"Firestar would be our clan leader." the yellow warrior gazed at the loner as he too stepped out in the open. "You seem confused. Are you a kitty pet, perhaps?" the Tom neared the loner, getting close to examine his features. "You don't look too much like one." he whispered to himself. He was half hoping for a sort of 'kittypet' buddy. "This is Thunderclan. What brings you here? Curiosity? Got lost?" his eyes were wide with curiosity himself, wondering, hoping, and waiting patiently.

((OOC: Can I play as Firestar then? .O.))
Atlas chewed on the new piece of information. Firestar is their leader... So that's who he'd have to go to if he wanted to join this ThunderClan? He blinked up at the tom when the other stepped closer. Kittypet? He knew the 'pet' part, and the dogs called his kind kitties as an insult. Should he be offended? The yellow cat didn't seem to be calling him a name when he said it. "I was born in a house, yes. But I don't remember much of it. I escaped when I was very young."
He pauses, then continues, "My..family told me of four clans that lived here. I have been traveling for three suns, talking to the strays to find your territories. I've come to..to join, and learn." Atlas looks up hopefully at the yellow tom.
((OOC: Had to make it quick. I'm not supposed to be on this late anyways. But if Atlas joins, he won't take a warrior name.))

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
Okay, Jaypaw's up to it.
As soon as they got to camp, Jaypaw managed to keep Wolfeye in the warriors den and left her there. "Just take a break," he told her sternly, and gave her poppyseeds to send her to sleep. After she'd finished with her, he padded outside to see what else he could do. Remembering the seeds, he had to retrieve them and dug a small hole outside the medicine cat den, planted the seeds, and wetted some moss to soak the earth. Leafpool came outside, wondering what he was up to. "I'm planting catmint," he told her. "Just some seeds I found outside." He patted the earth around them and made a quick trip to the fresh kill pile.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
Kin's paw was halfway through the entrance when a sudden loud screech erupted nearby. She jumps back as though scorched, taking a crouching stance behind her brother- who had in turn taken refuge behind their guide. Nik's fur was fluffed out from his initial shock, while Kin simply stared on with wide eyes and a slightly agape mouth, taking in the appearances of the newcomers.
There was a somewhat small grey tabby on the back of a brown tabby tom, who looked sligthly familiar. The third was a very bright yellow tabby with matching eyes- he seemed friendly, at least. Nik nearly groans at the sight of the grey tabby she-cat, who reminded him of a minature Kin. At least she wasn't that annoying when she was younger... He only barely notices his sister's ears prick at the sound of the brown tabby's voice -she had begun to inch her way up to the cat who had led them here- for it was slightly rough, but seemed to fit his borderline rugged appearance. He was different- but a unique kind of different.
His next words further interested her. He had come to learn... what's so special about living with these cats? Wouldn't it be the same as being alone? Nik is paying less attention to the conversation as he is to their appearances, clearly trying to make sense of all of the new cats. After a few silent moments between the siblings, Kin finally finds her voice. "Raven, who are these cats?" Her voice is quiet and nervous, much different from her playful and bold tones.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
(Yes, you guys can be any NPC you want. Thunderclan could team-up with Shadowclan, which is VERY rare, or some loners. Thunderclan can choose anyone they want, even some Riverclan/Windclan cats that don't want to fight. Fishpaw might fight, Acornpaw doesn't want to. He might warn Firestar, or warn a Thunderclan cat.)
Fishpaw leaped onto Cloverleaf's back and clawed at her with claws sheathed (not opened, just saying because people get it mixed up lots). Cloverleaf spun around and kicked Fishpaw off. Cloverleaf mewed at Fishpaw signaling to stop.
"Why don't you go hunt for a bit then feed the elders. I'm sure another apprentice could put fresh moss." Cloverleaf smiled then walked back to camp. Fishpaw meowed a goodbye then set off to find some decent prey.
Acornpaw looked up at Leopardstar. "
Thunderclan... weak... small... annoying...." she spat. "We must end their pity lives so the three clans can join together can rule to forest." she grinned evilly. "Are you wishing to help us? And become a warrior early?"
"I want to be a warrior but.... why Thunderclan?" he asked.
"Why?! WHY!? Because their leader is a kittypet... that's why." she growled, "I can't even say his name. He's a disgrace to all the clans, maybe even to all cats be them clan born or not!" she started to run into the hills, one warrior followed and the other looked down at Acornpaw. "She is right. You are strong, this is your destiny. You will become a legend! Now go, follow her." he smirked. Acornpaw looked around then started to run after his leader.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
Ravenfeather finds himself standing rigid with shock as the tiny clearing outside of the camp entrance burst into action. When he sees the tom shoot from the bushes he unsheathes his claws, ready for an attack. But instead of a hostile look, the brown tom's expression reflects his own.
That's when he sees the tiny she-cat in tow on his back. "Dawnpaw!" he growls, wondering what in StarClan's name prompted her to launch herself onto some cat when she had no battle train at all. Ravenfeather darted forward and snatched the she-cat up by the scruff, much to her displeasure. "Hey! You have no ri-" her indignant cry is cut off with an oof as she's dropped onto her haunches. "As a warrior, and your older brother, I do have a right, Dawnpaw," he snorts, ignoring her look of surprise at the word 'brother'.
He turns to Nik and Kin and flicks his tail at the little cat, "This is Dawnpaw, my half-sister," he tilts his head in Thunderstrike's direction, refusing to look at the yellow warrior, "That's her mentor, Thunderstrike. As for the other..." he gave a shrug.
Thunderstrike seemed to have everything under control, so he signals Nik and Kin to follow him again as he pushes into camp. The black tom glances around, looking for Firestar and also Wolfeye. He watched the she-cat disappear into the warrior's den and felt a twinge of relief. No doubt she wouldn't find the faces of Nik and Kin in the camp very pleasing.
The flash of a flame colored pelt caught Ravenfeather's eye, and he urged the two to follow him.
--
Firestar stretched and sat up, surveying the camp. He often found himself marveling at the well worked patterns of clan life. Firestar was sure that if something were to happen to him, ThunderClan would not stumble at all, but keep running smoothly as it should. His eyes found Brambleclaw, and he was about to ask the deputy who was on the next hunting patrol, but a black cat was padding towards him with a look of urgency in his amber eyes.
"Ravenfeather, what do you..." The leader trailed off, eyes narrowing at the sight of two unfamiliar cats padding after Ravenfeather. He recognized them as rogues by the way they walked, so unfamiliar with clan life. Suddenly he was flung back into the past, and before him was a camp teeming with cats long-dead. When he had first arrived at ThunderClan as a small tom, it had been overwhelming but also fascinating. Did these two see the same glory of this life? Or would they cringe from it, and long for the life of the solitary feline? This question was what he silently asked the two as Ravenfeather explained the situation. The leader nodded and fixed his emerald gaze on the two. "Joining ThunderClan is something you must commit yourself too. If you do this, we will teach you of the Warrior Code, protect you, and provide you with a home. In turn, you must give this clan your loyalty and be willing to defend it at all costs."

Acornpaw stopped. He scented the Windclan cats, Leopardstar went deeped into the hills, she wasn't far from the Windclan camp. Acornpaw shrugged and started walking back to his leader.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
(Sorry for the delay, I was stuck on the wrong forum or something.)
Onestar stretched himself, claws sheathed as they scrape the ground, leaving the straight, ragged claw marks. His eyes lay tired yet powerful, face nearly unreadable, almost untouchable, perhaps. He walked in a way of which voiced power like no other, each paw was perfectly placed on the cold floor. He felt something odd today, and he wanted to know what would be going on soon. Tail wrapping around him as he sat down, he started to watch his clan in action. A warrior popped in, eyes widened almost with surprise. "Onestar!" The warrior called, making the leader turn, bored. "What is it?" He meowed in a simple manner, eyes looking more tired. "Well, we--" the warrior's words stopped as he tried to think of what to say. "Someone thinks they've spotted Leopardstar, sir." He finally breathes out. For once Onestar had a little interest showing. "Let her come." The leader meowed, then moves to the side of his Clan to meet the leader, expecting her arrival soon.
Thunderstrike looked at Atlas for a moment with confusion. "Oh, I get it! You were a pet and then you ran away like me!" He jumped, highly satisfied and confident with his predictions. "Don't worry, our leader is kind of like us. You might get tested, though, like how tough you can be, so I'd be tough if I were you!" He smiles and sits down, tail swaying excitedly.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
(Decided on names for Kin and Nik- their warrior names will be Springsand and Cedarleaf.)
Kin blinks her eyes curiously, and pushes her muzzle into the small grey she cat, staring into her green eyes. "I like your attitude." She would've said more, but her brother shoved her towards the tunnel, causing her to yelp. She sent a glare back to her brother, only to see him watching the yellow tabby with curiousity. I really hope he isn't gonna stalk 2cats now...
Her thoughts are soon forgotten as she steps through the bramble thicket, and into a clearing full of cats. Her mouth hung open, and her brother looked around with shock. How the heck is something like this so well hidden? The she-cat looked around in awe, and then saw a bright orange flare walking toward them. Her eyes widened even further.
"Are you... on fire?" Her brother glared at the she-cat and shoved her shoulder again.
"Don't be an idiot, Kin. This was your idea." He hissed at her.
"Your just jealous because someone isn't paying you enough attention." She snipped back. Her brother gave her a clueless look in response, causing her to roll her eyes before turning to the FireCat and dipping her head. "Uh... greetings, Mr. Leader. We don't know how to really... live in groups. We... had an odd familyhood. Forgive my brother for his idioic fetish for stalking random individuals, he just cannot help it." Her brother bared his teeth at her, which she ignored, trying her best to look serious in front of the lead-fire-cat.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
Leopardstar was welcomed to the Windclan camp. She looked at her warrior and Acornpaw.
"Stay, Oakfur. I'll be fine. Acornpaw, come." she smiled and nudged the apprentice forward. Acornpaw hesitated then took a pawstep forward. Leopardstar spotted Onestar sitting near his den.
Hello Onestar. This is one of my best apprentices, Acornpaw."
"Hello..." Acornpaw whispered then realized he was in a crouch. He instantly rose to his paws and sat straight up.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
Firestar purred at the sight and assumed they were siblings. "My name is Firestar," he explains to the she-cat. The orange tome flicks his paw as if dismissing her doubts, "No worries. I came here as a kittypet, knowing nothing about the clans, believe it or not. You'll adjust well if you just follow your clanmates." The tom stands and motions for them to follow.
He leaps onto the Highrock, not bothering to call the clan(Because I don't want to have to make everyone post their cat's attendance for this. You can always reply later saying your character was there, I don't mind.), since news of these two would spread like wildfire through the camp. Fixing his gaze on the sky, he began, " I, Firestar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these rogues. They have both accepted to begin learning and understanding the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn." He lets his eyes flicker from one to the other with equal intensity. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?
Ravenfeather darts forward to lend them instructions and the both nod, "I do."
"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names." He focuses on Nik, "From this moment you will be known as Cedarleaf, and you," to Kin "as Springsand. StarClan honors your willingness to become part of our clan, and we welcome you as a full warriors of ThunderClan."
Ravenfeather steps between them and purrs, ready to congratulate them. Then he sees Firestar looking at him. "Ravenfeather, since you have no apprentice, I want you to guide these two until they get the hang of things around here."
Ravenfeather nods, delighted.

Re: WarriorCats (Forest Home)
Warriors lay not too far away from Onestar. They looked uninterested, however they are actually on guard for their leader. Onestar gazed at the apprentice, smiling, almost. "What an adorable kit you've brought with you, Leopardstar. Are you teaching that one?" He asked, assuming that was why this apprentice was brought as well. "What brings you here?" He then asked in an almost curious tone.

A idea sparked in Jaypaw's head, and he waited for the meeting to be over so that he could speak to Firestar. Wolfeye still slept inside the warrior's den after taking the poppy seeds Jaypaw gave her.
