Talking in all caps?

Well. I just looked through the rules and didn’t see a rule for talking in all caps? Is it spam or...?

That doesn’t answer my question... Can you actually answer it? I wasn’t asking if it was fine or not. I was wondering why they were enforcing a rule that wasn’t there. Would caps lock be in the spam category, or something?

I have seen a few times where somebody gets corrected by a mod, so I would say just don't do it at all. I don't think that there would even be a reason to do it. So yes, I believe it is considered spamming.

I'm not sure, but when people type in caps it usually means they're shouting or emphasizing a word. It could be considered as a way of trolling as it can be annoying. It's not really such a big issue unless the text is offensive, just remind the person politely not to talk in caps, and if they refuse, then it probably is trolling.

Yes, to confirm talking in caps is considered shouting. If used excessively it can be classified as SPAM and a moderator will correct it or possibly give the user a warning if its been happening quite often. Generally it is frowned upon since there's no real need to yell.
