chicks jumping out of nest

With almost EVERY family i raise as a bluebird, one or two of the chicks simply vanish from the nest. a few times i have found them on the ground. I have concluded that they jump out of the nest if attacked, or are starving/lacking minerals.

With my most recent family, both my chicks were in AMAZING condition, yet the still jumped out of the nest before they could fly. My friend said that she thinks NPCs have personalities and may have just been suicidal.

Does ANYONE know why chicks randomly jump for the nest? Or how to prevent them from doing so?

That happened to me too a few times. It always happened when I had food. I think they are just going to the food.

Sometimes wind picks up on WEO, causing sometimes chicks or even parts/the whole nest fall off the tree. Some chicks die, some fall and survive. If anything I'd just pick them up and, whenever I can, make the nest more stable for them to have a less chance of falling.

I think a snake could've come in and stolen one.

No, because she said they randomly jump out of the nest. I also agree with Alexander.

well this time, i forced them all to stay in the back of the nest and no one got out, so i guess that's a solution...
