~Faster, Faster~ Gryphon Roleplay

The slim body of an animal crossed the horizon, stalking a deer. Each paw, only softly touched the forest floor, assuring the presence of the predator was concealed. The light that filtered through the canopy of leaves above it lightly dappled the silky pelt of the animal. It rested on it's haunches, before thrusting power into them and springing forth onto it's unsuspecting prey. It slammed into the deer's flank, and dug it's claws deep into it's prey's hide. Screeching as the adrenaline surged through the predator's veins, it pushed the animal onto the ground. Pinning the deer down with it's crudely sharp claws, it ended the battle by swiftly snapping the neck of the helpless animal, and warm blood seeped from the cut. The predator stretched it's wings and looked up at the sky, before screeching in a crude victory.
Okay, so the prologue of roleplayingness sucks, but oh well.
Plot Summary:
Well, basically this is in the midevil times, people build castles, rescue princesses, kill goblins etc. If you've ever played the Elder Scrolls then you may have a better idea, though this has nothing to do with The Elder Scrolls Series(You don't have to play/read anything.) Gryphons do exist with humans, but the humans generally hate them, and an exotic pelt or claw of a gryphon is highly saught after, and most humans will hunt them. Though it's a gryphon's choice whether or not they like humans. There's always an odd occassion where a single gryphon is allied with a village, but it doesn't always last too long.
