About :

Isma is a new town. Starting last night, we got the City Hall, Bank/Main Store, Roads, Houses, and 'Isma' Printed On Water. We got this done just last night, and the town is NOT officialy finished. This is the main town, to the server. Luna, Mayor of Isma, has recently agreed to the idea of making a new server with a town. More towns will be created.

In The Future :


More towns and roads will be added. There will be atleast 2 more towns, as in mind.

More shops including ; Landscaping, Electrical, ect. Will be added!

More features ; Flowers, Hang outs, ect.

On Isma we have 2 types of items(money) to be used to buy things. One of those things is Gold Ingots.. For example, in Isma's Main Shop, Lex will buy pork for say, 1 gold a piece.



One of those two things is sponges. For example, Lex will buy 32 iron ingots for 1 sponge. If you have a stack of iron ingots, she will buy for 2 sponges.



Trading in Gold For Sponges At The Bank! (Please Read)

64 Gold Ingots = 1 Sponge

or

1 Sponge = 64 Gold Ingots




Getting Money (Gold,Sponges) :




When you first join the town you get 5 sponge, and 20 gold ingots.

You can get Gold/Sponges by selling wood, iron, stone, ect. to shops.

You can make your own shop and sell items you get to people for a reasonable price.

Getting Shops/Lots :


Getting lots is easy. But paying them is not. There are lots in Isma, which can cost from 5 sponges-15 sponges. (FACT: Sponges are the highest valued item on the server! It is suppose to be kept safe! Remember! Once you lose the 5 you start with, your on your own to get them!)



Other towns to be made may have cheaper lots. It depends on the Mayor/Deputy.

We got some stuff done today. Slipgate command was created, so we can now travel to the nether for resources.
I think deputies are just a position of power that's not mayor.

The server is downloading mods. Most of you think thats good. But, the risk of losing the world is 1 out of 10. When the mod is done downloading, we'll see if it makes it. 3:

I dunno about star or lex, but me and my brother are usually on at night.

I want to join but... hmm... its so difficult... how do I exsplain this... its too... plain. It seems rather hard to get money... wait I thought sponges were removed from the game... it would be way eysier to... erm nvm. I dont think I can join if I have to pay to live. unless... Is it possible you could be a miner and live in the mine?! that would be much much more fun! then I could trade things like Iron for things like glass and wood and stuff! Is locking chest enabled? I dont know if there in all servers or not cuz I only played on one. wow those are alot of questions...

I'll try to answer your questions as best I can.
This post is pretty outdated, we've added TONS of stuff to the server now. Keep in mind this was posted after one night of work, and the server's been up for almost half a month now. There's even a second town, owned by Doom! It's wild-west/desert themed.

It's not as difficult as it sounds to get money, a lot of the time people will offer well-paying jobs just for help with building something, or clearing off land. Sponges are indeed removed from survival mode, which is why they were chosen to be used as the currency. We needed something that wasn't easy to get, and didn't have other uses. Sponge is great for this because it's entirely useless in survival mode. (It doesn't absorb water anymore.)

The original post was a bit misleading in that there was no mention of the land outside the town. You are by no means restricted to living in the starting town, and could always go off to build in the wilderness, never to be heard from again. Of course, if you do this, you don't have to pay anyone for land.

We don't currently have locking chests, but I'm working at installing mods, and am taking suggestions. For now it's suggested to keep your chest in a secure area. We've not had any problems with stealing at this time.

Yha, I have like 3 hidden chests just to be sure.. and we probably don't have to worry about robbers until we open the server up to anyone. Then the griefers will come. >.<

Yeah, if we open the server to people outside of WEO the server will surely fall. I have had only good long lasting experiences with private servers so lets keep it that way please. I have plenty of room in my town, it even has a carnival AKA Tourist Trap *cough**cough*. I need to find some way to get people to want to come to my town...it only has a boat ride but I am working on a coaster and snack shack. Zelda you are free to come to my tow or run off into the mountains to become some weird deformed rat hermit that lives deep underground told to little children so they don't wander off.

can me and my sis go off and turn into deformed rat hermits as doom described them? XD
