BluePelt sighed.SHe attempted to hold Myst back by the scruff.She loved Myst like family,but she needed help.

Sunfrost

The blonde tom hopped up on the rock, straightening himself up before sitting down, not trying to be too close to her or anything.
"Hey..." He mewed softly, letting the breeze relax him a little. "You're not going to let him get you too upset, are you?" He asked in a gentle voice.

Sunfire gave a careless shrug, his ear twitching as he heard his clan mate calling for him.
Odd, he was probably the last they would trust with anything. He didn't smell any enemies anyways.
Besides, his fur wasn't clean yet.
"You should go back to camp, make sure our darling little leader isn't contemplating jumping off a cliff." He smirked lightly. "Or, maybe just ordering some of her little sheep to push me over instead."
Once his fur was sleek once more and without a hint of his outburst, he turned away, almost surprising himself as he twitched his tail at Talonspark in a see-you-later gesture.
He wrote it off as a fluke, of course.
Golden-green eyes passed over trees, searching for the distinct pale color of Bluepelt.
Why she needed him he didn't really know, but it must be more than just to tell him off if she was willing to call for him.
"What is it this ti-"
His exasperated tone broke off and he stared coldly down at the cat he was meant to help.
"Che, your supposed to be leader now, aren't you? Or has Icestar sill not made up her poor, feeble little mind?" He snapped rather moodily, trying to hide the fact that not even 5 minutes ago he had nearly thrown away his mask for another cat.
Myst might be his new leader(If she even was, he had after all left before hearing anything else) but that didn't mean she was free from his tongue. The faster she learned that, the better.
He only respected those that earned it.
Silently the tom went on the she-cat's other side, slightly surprised at how small and weak she seemed now that she needed help. He moved his own shoulder so that it propped up the smaller she-cat without a word, his chilly silence daring them to ask about his sudden helpful attitude. "Don't push yourself when it isn't needed, idiot." He grumbled softly, his usual bite more mellowed than usual.

BluePelt smiled at the tom-cat.She propped up Myst's other side.She was starting to like the tom-cat.Him helping at all was nice,and she made sure he saw she was smiling.

Icestar flattened her ears. "I don't know what to do." she mewed, quietly. "He has a sour tongue, and I'm going to have to get used to it." She glanced at Sunfrost. He was a sweet cat, but he could act like a blonde most of the time. The white fae wrapped her tail around her paws. "What should I do?"

Mystfur wanted to run off- But she knew that would be pointless. Instead, she stayed quiet as Bluepelt and Sunfire propped her up, and sighed quietly. Why is all of this happening to me? She asked herself, as she was rocked around quite a bit. Through out it all, though, she tried to avoid eye contact with Sunfire. There was no reason for that. She wanted to yowl at them, "I can do it myself!" But continued to stay quiet, as if she was waiting for permission from Starclan to speak.

"Well!" He said, plopping himself into a laying position next to her. "I think he was jealous of you in the first place, you know, having the leader position, and now that you let it go, he himself is being a bit whiney, don't ye think? I mean, it's funny because he hates whiners, and yet he's kind of whining himself. Maybe it's on the inside, but I can see it in him. Sometimes it's easy to read the unreadable."

Icestar purred with amusement. "That could be true. Wow, your smarter than I thought you were.( don't take it seriously...)"

Sunfire gladly kept his eyes pointed away from the she-cats, but no amount of avoiding eye contact would stop him from sensing the sickly sweet smile directed at him.
He shivered ever-so-slightly at the feeling, unsure how to name it. Disgust? Happiness? Confusion? He couldn't quite place it.
"Stop smiling or I'll drop her, and we'll see how far you can carry her by yourself, feather brain." He finally ground out. "Or maybe I'll get lucky and your eyes will pop out from grinning like a fool too much."
He had to shift his shoulders a few times, trying to get used to the sudden height difference between himself and the injured she-cat. Myst was not only weak but smaller than him, and he couldn't help but wonder why it was the small and young cats that managed to become deputies and leaders.

Sunfrost laughed it off. "Well, you know, everyone says that once they see this side of me." He smiled. "You know, sometimes it's better off to do the things you want to do. If you stayed being a leader, it wouldn't be something you wanted, and then you would lack the qualities of being a serious leader, you know? I think you started out with a good idea, and then you had the courage to actually do what you wanted! You see, now you just have to get over this little drama hill and then you can do what you plan to afterwards."

"IF YOU DROP HER THAT'LL BE THE LAST THING YOU DO!"BluePelt threatened.She knew he wasn't used to being smiled at,but she lost her temper.She stopped smiling and glared at him.She didn't realize that there was a log in front of her,and she fell,letting go of Myst at the last second.Her underbelly was bleeding,but she regained her posture,and continued on.

Icestar smiled back. "Thanks, Sunfrost. It was nice talking to you. But should I give up leader? Or stay leader?"

Mystfur listened as Sunfire ranted once again. Doesn't he ever be quiet, and respect someone for once? She asked herself scornfully. Maybe I should go around complaining about everything and point out the obvious like he does. She told herself. She was now irritated, and her eyes, along with her flicking tail showed that. She suddenly felt herself shift as Bluepelt basically walked into a log. "Can you at least watch where you're going?" She asked, sounding disappointed.

Eyes averted to his paws for a moment. "Well, what does your heart say? Maybe even your mind knows what you truly want. Do you really have what it takes to be a leader? Sure, I've seen you as a leader and I have no doubts that you're good at it, but I'm not sure if that matters. Does whatever you want to do besides being a leader matter more to you? If it does, then that's all you need to find your answer."

"Yeah, yeah." The tom muttered, his stance relaxing ever-so-slightly. Sharp words he could deal with, and he could easily speak the Language of Insults. "Don't let my oh-so distracting good looks make you tri-"
His words were kindly greeted by the she-cat actually tripping, and Sunfire felt his breathe catch and was about to grasp Myst's scruff so she wouldn't follow the white she-cat in tripping, but Bluepelt merely regained her balance and walked on.
Sunfire gave a small frown. He could smell blood, and really didn't want to be stuck with two injured she-cats in the middle of the woods by himself, but the camp entrance wasn't too far away. He could at least see it from here.
But that also meant Icestar was probably awaiting him, and he gave an aggravated sigh.
He really didn't want to deal with a ticked off leader right now, and wondered if he could just leave the two-she cats to find their way inside it on their own.
Doubtful.
"Hurry up, the faster we get back the faster we can get that clumsy leaf-chaser to treat your wounds."
