They cubs were too far back for the dog thing to actually get to them. They kept on yelling though. But when they heard the smilodon's voice, they knew it wasn't their mother. It was a male!


Kuda was so shocked, she went unconsious again.

Fonx let go of her meal and went to attack the smilodon. She ran at him, and tried to knock him over with a swing of her head.

Fang roared and was knocked to the side, he quickly got up and roared again, before charging and trying to leap onto the hyenadon.

Claws hit her back, enraging her even more. She tried to reach around and bite him, but she just couldn't rotate her head 360 degrees.

Belleza decided to stop and look. It was a male. It was attacking the hyenadon furociously.

Fang tried to drive the hyenadon by throwing his weight, he was trying to pull it down so he could pin and, if he decided, kill it.

Fonx's legs were strong and didn't give so easily. She had an idea: try and twist her head the other way!

(Hyenadons really are stupid. XD)

Fang tried to sink his sabre teeth into some part of this large dog like thing.

Grr, this thing was really starting to hurt. She rolled on her back and tried to get it off.

(That is stupid! The teeth will sink right in there! Man, your characters have short lives!)
Belleza froze watching the fight, while her mother was still unconsious.

Fang leapt off and was quick to react, he tried to pin the hyenadon then sink his teeth into its neck.

(well, dinoman loves to kill meh. I'm not losing this one so fast.)
Fonx kicked him off. She got up to hold him down and try to get just one fatal bite.

Fang roared and tried to swipe at her face with his claws.

Uck! This thing was tough. She had a nasty scrach across her beautiful snout. Roaring with rage, she pounced at him, jaws wide open.

Fang managed to get up and hurried away. He roared very loudly, and very angrily again.
