Later, when it had stopped raining, she motioned for Tii to follow her out.
"Lets go, do you know the way?"

He stiffened and looked to the dirt. "I... ah, I don't remember." he mumbled softly, ears wavering.

"Don't remember…" he repeated with a frown.

"Oh, well it's worth looking i suppose, c'mon," Xena said.
To admit, she was somewhat frustrated with the young fox. Her memory wasn't good either, but at least she knew who she knew.

A soft sigh gently puffed from his maw and he laid back his ears. "I'm sorry, m'am." he said softly and lowered his head.

Rat suddenly realized that what he was lying on was soft. And tickled. Uck. Ack! He bolted to his feet, and his paws sank in the earth, which was not good. He'd lived on concrete all his life, and as he stumbled around, he realized that instead of all rock and few patches of soft ground, the opposite was true for here! His nose wrinkled. Disgusting forest smell, so unlike the famliar city. And a strange, roaring, howling wind was approaching, and he didn't know what to do. He ran, but was picked up and hurtled around, not knowing where he was going.
Then he was thrown back into a concrete building. He was back in the city.
He could see hazy orange and red fuzz from the corner of his eye before he fell unconscious.
...
((Well, I'm with Velvet! So... basically, he got thrown to the same place she did at around the same time, because I posted later than everyone else, and he was stupid about tornadoes. Yup, just buy the last reason, please...))

"It's fine. If there's anything I've learned during my long life it's nobodys' perfect. Now, lets see, I thought I smelled some fox by the abandoned buildings," Xena replied. She started limping off in the direction of the abandoned factory, ignoring her stiff joints.

((I control the weather, and I didn't say it was raining. And summerbreeze, you're accepted.))
Velvet woke up. Thinking one thing:
I don't want to die... Everywhere was aching, her injured leg now more hurt. Lifting her head up, Velvet saw another fox. She nudged him with her muzzle.

He felt something nudge him. He lifted a paw to brush it away, thinking it was cockroach. "Leave m' alone..." Rat mumbled, one paw over his eyes. Then he sighed, and got up, opening his eyes. The moment he was awake, he stiffened. "Who are you?" he accused the fox who had just woken him up. His voice was soft and quiet, gentle, despite himself. He had to talk at that volume, or it would hurt.
Rat eyed her mistrustingly. His right side ached and felt stiff, his left paws were sore, his head ached all over, it was ringing again, he could feel cuts and bruises, and his right ear felt damaged. His eyesight was slightly blurred around the edges, but he took that to be sleep. He was in an empty warehouse of some sort. The exit was to his left.

Velvet sighed. "I'm Velvet. What are you doing here?"

Raea looked up, how long had she been sleeping? Where were her parents? She looked around as she got up " Mom? Dad? This isn't funny." She said, frowning. In every way she was non-amused. Raea walked out of the den just in time to see a hunter shoot her father. Leaving him lifeless. She gasped, her parents were not that nice, for they played pranks and such, but they would never leave her in the forest. The forest, she thought. Maybe there is a way out! probably not.

His fur stood on end. "I was picked up by the Whirling Wind thing and ended up here." he said quietly.

(Sure, we need a guide anyway.)
Xena was searching intently for someone to help her and Tii. She went over near the factory and started looking for a hole that was there earlier.
"Here it is!" Xena had found it, there was fresh fox scent around it, but it seemed the fox had left.
