Icestar saw Mystfurs fear, and hesitation. "You'll be fine." she whispered. "If I didnt trust you, they you wouldnt be deputy." she mewed, sadly. She made a good choice for a deputy

BluePelt went over to MystFur.She realized that the deputy was now the leader,and she had tears in her eyes.She had betrayed the clan.She lay on the ground in front of the stump.Her scratch over her eye was bleeding,and she had to close that eye so the blood wouldn't get in it.Her ear hurt,and she tried to ignore it.

Mystfur felt reassured by Icestars words, but wasn't sure how to announce she was leader. How am I suppose to say our leader quit and now I'm taking over? she asked herself, then looked down at all of the cats. "Cats of ForestClan" She began, trying to figure out how to put together her words. "You may be wondering what I'm doing up here, and heres why." She paused for a few seconds, glancing down at Icestar. "I will be taking over for Icestar, as she is retiring." She stopped and looked down at Icestar, because she wasn't sure what else to say. Oh great, I'm already failing. She thought scornfully to herself.

BluePelt understood.She sat up.She smiled and nodded at Myst,trying to tell her that she was doing great,and IceStar was probably proud.She flicked her tail,trying to show Myst that she should continue or say somethign inspirational.

Icestar spoke up. "We will travel to the Moonstones tomorrow at dawn. The reason I resigned is because some of my Clanmates told me I was not worthy enough to be a leader." she glared at Wolfberry. "Those cats were right. I am not made to be a leader. Mystfur will show Forestclan that she is a great leader. She will pick a new deputy when we get back from the Moonstone." Icestar sat down, and curled her tail around her paws. I didn't make a good leader at all. I know Mystfur will be great. I just wish I could have a mate.. she shook her head. It's already too late now to think about that. Or is it?

BluePelt understood IceStar perfectly at the moment.She remained silent.

(Who all had apprentices? Deputy needs to have trained one apprentice..)

( I think dogtooth, Goldensun has an apprentice, but Golden is my other chara. I think dogtooth is the only one)

(But Dogtooth is a queen, isn't she? Or did I miss something..)

Sunfire stared up at the two cats on the tree stump.
She was giving up?
He wrinkled his nose.
Forget honoring her for being young but still a leader, she's too weak in the first place...
The tom got to his feet and walked towards the log, glancing around at everyone before turning his eyes on Icestar. "So, you're just giving up, are you? Are you honestly that weak to let something like someone's stupid opinion get to you? Rather than shoving your responsibilities to someone else, why don't you try to prove someone wrong?" His voice had started out somewhat soft and calm, but gradually grew till he was spitting.
She was a coward. A coward for a leader, trying to lead others. Who wouldn't try to prove someone wrong?
"I can'd believe I've been trying to follow a little fake." He snarled at her, as if daring her to argue.
Maybe he was wishing for some fire to spark in her eyes to suddenly light up, to show him that not everyone was so simple and plain- that some were different.
That some has bite in them.

BluePelt listened to the Tom's words.She stood up and opened both eyes.She glared at him."You dare speak to IceStar that way?I ran from my consiquences,but I would NEVER spat at a leader.If you're going to pick a fight go do it with someone else.Like me.Who would rather fight you than see a leader spat on."She spat at the tom.

Icestar shoved her snout into his face. Now her anger rose. "Why don't you shut that big mouth of yours?" she snarled. "Maybe I shouldn't give up being leader. Maybe I should prove to you that I am a good leader. How would you feel not having a family? Or a mate? Or kits of your own? Or parents that plain didn't love you no mater how hard you tried to impress them? Because i was dumped as a kit to fend for myself. Right now, I don't want a fight. Just sit down, now."

BluePelt listened to IceStar's words.She went between the two cats."IceStar..Uh...Maybe you should go talk to Myst."She said,trying to calm her down.She turned to SunFire."Now.If you want to say anything like that EVER again,I suggest you plan for a fight."She thretened him,and walked away.

Icestar turned to MYstfur. "I'm sorry." she whispered.

"At least I wouldn't run away from being a leader! Maybe I don't care about others, and maybe I don't care if you don't like me! Why should I? I know who I am, and I should be the only judge of that! Maybe you should stay leader, because even if your not good at it or you don't like it you can at least prove your own point while you're trying!" His words were now yowled, and the tom panted after they were out. Showing such an explosion wasn't his style, and maybe in his warped mind this was some sort of esteem boosting- but it wouldn't be his words if he sugarcoated them. He was different. He didn't care what others thought. "I'm going to go hunt, because maybe I'm not leader or deputy and maybe I don't give two rat tails if I was or not, but at least I know how to get to the stupid point of it." His words were directed at the clan in general, and soon the ruffled tom raced passed the others as he exited the entrance for the second time that day, trying to name the emotion he felt fluttering deep down.
It wasn't until he was out of earshot and sight of the camp did he noticed the burning sensation in his eyes, and the free feeling of letting out his bottled frustrations.
Curling up, the tom watched with idle fascination as a melody began to play in his mind- soothing and familiar, and his claws tugged gently at the moss underneath him.

EDIT: ((The melody my character is hearing is just a lullaby he remembers, so no, you cannot hear it if you happen to go after him. It's not an outside force or magic or whatever that is going to control him and make him black out, or any other ideas you thought it'd be.))
