Fonx went towards a spot where she had chicks a couple years earlier. It was like a oasis in this desert-like land. She showed Kapaz the old lake and the woods that surrounded it. "This is a good spot."

" Ok... lets rest its been a long day" Kapaz said

"Sure has," she said, lying down in the shade of a tree.

Kapaz nestled beside Fonx and quickly fell asleep

Fonx slept late that day. When she woke up, she mostly just hung around their new territory.

Wonderful Fonx thought when the pack of allosaurs appeared over the horizon. They were still upset about her stealing their meal. She nudged Kapaz awake.

"What" Kapaz said tiredly

"Oh, nothing. Some of my old friends have come to kill me, thought you'd like to beat 'em up," Fonx replied.

At the word kill, Kapaz jumped up and stared at the young Allosaurs. He could take the, he charged roaring the whole time

Fonx ran over also, clamping her jaws down on one of them. It ran away, head low to the ground. She kicked another one, bit another.

Kapaz chased the one that ran away from Fonx and quickly caught up to it, bit its neck and shook vigorously

The rest, seeing one of their comrades dead, ran away. "Thanks for the help," Fonx said.
