Tii frowned and looked around at the somewhat damaged twolegged homes. "Kind of...of scary..." he trailed off again, his face and muscles going lax.

Xena peered at him uneasily. His face was blank again, and he overall seemed limp. She flicked her tail in front of his face to get a reaction out of him.

"...It's alright," Xena said.
There's definatly something wrong with him. Reminds me a little of my daughter, she'd get that expression, too. But nothing like this.
Xena worried to herself, and became lost in thought, thinking about past litters.

The young fox finished the squishy meat and let out a tired yawn. "Is your paw going to be okay?" Tii asked worriedly.

"I don't think so, Tii. I'm very old and tired, I don't heal as well as i used to," Xena replied. She nuzzled Tii, then went down the burrow to sleep.

He frowned and followed after her. "I shouldn't have taken your food. You might need it more than ever now…" Tii sat in the corner and curled up, his wet tail up against his face. I will get he food tomorrow. Least I can do for eating the last of hr food and saving me from the great winds...

Xena did not sleep long. She started planning on what to do next. The city was far more harsh then she had imagined, predators everywhere, all the food was rotton, and the only prey was rats. She eventually decided that it would be best to return to the forest. But how? She was injured, and the forest was all the way across the city. There's always Tii to help, she thought, but how long would he stick around. He was a city fox, could he survive in the wilderness? So many questions.

Later, Xena nudged Tii awake. She had decided to return to the forest, where she belonged.
"I am returning to my homeland, the forest. Tii, I cannot make the journey alone, will you come with me?" Xena asked. She was not very hopeful, after all, this fox had lived in the city all his life. Why should he follow a crazy old fox into the unknown?

"Of course not, and old fox like me never gets tired of cheery kits. 'Sides, I need help navigating the streets," Xena replied. She could breathe easier now.
"We will set off later, if it doesn't rain and freeze up my old bones."

He smiled and nodded quickly before sitting back down and staring intently at the rain outside the burrow entrance.

After being hidden for so long, Soro came out of hiding again, running out to find food.
