Amber opened her eyes, annoyed about the screeching Mononykus and Gigantoraptor. Both were more active at night, making them nocturnal. Mononykus were sneaky and were killers of young raptors, no matter how big they were. Gigantoraptor were worse, they could destroy dens and nests, and also kill young Velociraptors.

Rips eyes snapped open. Not far away, there were monykus and gigantoraptor brawling. She went and woke up the chicks, it was too risky to stay here. "Shale, do you think you can move?"

"A-ah.. What? Oh... yeah, I can move." Shale mumbled tiredly, eyes half closed.
He heard the faint screech in the distance and he struggled to stand up. "Can you walk, little one?" He asked the injured chick, eyeing her warily. "Ah, did you end up naming her by the way?"

Amber didnt feel safe alone anymore, with the urge to have a pack. She went up to her border and started the pack needed screeches.

"Yes. I decided to name her Lone, like you sudgested. I'm also naming the red one Blood. So now we've got all our names," said Rip, talking at the speed of light, "Now we have to leave because the giants of the desert are literally painting the sand blood red." She went to see if the other chicks were up. "Come on everybody, lets go," Rip said, taking her pack to another part of the territory. On the way, she heard the screeches of a young female. "Who do you think that is?"

Soro nudged the chicks along when he heard the screeches. "I'm not sure..." He muttered, and decided to check it out.

"Alright, I'll wait for ya," said Rip.

Amber screeched two more times, much more friendly. She then started slapping her tail on the ground, telling any nearby velociraptors that she lived in a less predator filled area, with plenty of food and water.

Rip turned her head to one side and listened, "This might be a risk, but the chicks are old enough to fight if we get into trouble. Let's go see who it is,"

Soro crested a hill and saw the female raptor. He approached with caution, and screeched a greeting.

Rip followed slowly, keeping an eye on Lone and Shale. She looked over the hill, it was a red raptor, like Blood. Must be a new species she thought.

Amber smiled when she saw a small pack coming. She trotted over, fanning up her amber colored tail feathers happily.

Rip's head moved around in that persise way birds' do. She was looking over the female, a new rival. Family would never get inspected like this, but strange females were an entire new thing. "...Hello, I'm Rip, this is my pack," she said after a second.

" My name's Amber, nice to meet ya, Rip." Amber replied, without no suspicion or whatsoever. "I have a den fit for 25 Velociraptors, and I could use some company. I got plenty of prey in my territory. There's also a watering hole there." Amber said.

"Ok, we've got chicks and injured so please, lead on," Rip replied.
