She bit into it, killing the creature. "Well, now we have a triceratops, crocodile, and eggs. Delicious!"

Not many had such a feast Jamingo and Pam were lucky

"Looks like rain," she said looking up into the sky, "hope the den doesn't flood." As in response there was thunder and it started poring.

"Maybe a week, maybe sooner. Can never say for sure," Pam replied. She went in the den to escape the rain, she hated getting her feathers wet.

Unlike Pam, Jamingo liked getting his feathers wet and stayed outside to think

At any rate, the den didn't flood. She peered outside at the darkening sky. Oh, how she hated rain.

Jamingo shook his feathers dry before entering the den. He knew how much Pam hated to get wet

Pam soon fell asleep. The next morning was bright and sunny. She decided to sleep in late that day, and dozed off again.

Jamingo slept late to he was in no hurry to wake up

Later, when she did wake up, Pam went outside and dug up some of the meat. She ate some, and gave some to Jamingo.

Jamingo ate the meat and savored every bite before going back to sleep

Lazy Pam thought to herself. She decided to walk around the camp, check on the triceratops.
