Zahra saw that the Ocelot noticed her. Not wanting to get in a fight, she hissed at it and started limping badly downstream the river. Exhausted, she laid down not caring about the Ocelot. She sighed and looked down at the water, then started cleaning her wound again. she then heard something fall, and she looked over her shoulder to see what it was. Oh great, she thought. Its the ocelot that made me fall out of that tree. She snarled at it loudly, but didn't get up.

Ah, a small furry thing. She snuck up to it and gave it a death hug. Mmm, she loved mice.

"Thanks," she said to him, cautious and humiliated. She got up and sulked away, still humiliated. Can't the jaguar just eat her right now? Then she heard the aggressive snarl of the jaguar. That might just happen. She started on back to her bush, hoping she would get eaten along the way.

“You’re welcome,” he meowed and ran off in the opposite direction. He decided he would see if that snake that was in the hole earlier, was still there. He ran to its location, and looked inside. The snake was sleeping, he didn’t want to wake it so he walked out.

Zahra watched the female Ocelot walk away. She sighed and stood up then took a drink from the river. After drinking her fill, she turned around towards where the Ocelots just were and sniffed around there. Tired, she ignored the Ocelots, which have caused her a lot of trouble, and went towards a tree. She climbed it, then lay down on a sturdy branch. She closed her eyes, but was still listening closely for anymore animals that might come her way.

Hm. Kara turned around. She was sure it would follow her like most males do. Oh well! She had completely forgot about the accident that happen just a second ago because of the unusual behavior. She decided to follow him instead.

Miles looked up at the sky to see a bird. He walked under another tree for shade. He sat down.

Zahra opened her eyes from hearing something run below. It was just that ocelot again, she thought. Today must be Ocelot day! she let out a hiss at the Ocelot once again, hoping it will stay away this time.

Kara scampered faster at the hiss, but quickly caught up to the male.
"Can I have your name?" she asked, hoping to scare the heck out of it. That always made her chuckle.

Miles hadn’t noticed the female following him yet. He laid flat on his stomach, and he looked up and squinted his eyes at the sun. Then he heard something ask for his name. He jumped up nervous. Then he realized it was just the female he met earlier. “My name is Miles.” He said.

Kara let out a soft chuckle, then said, "Kara. Thanks for helping me." Then she remembered, but laughed this time.

He nodded. “You’re welcome” he meowed.
“Pretty name” he thought but he didn’t have the courage to say it. He laid his head on his paws.

Zahra was almost asleep when she suddenly heard what sounded like another jaguar roar, except it was much younger. Interested in the noise, she jumped down from the tree and limped towards it. She then found something she didn't expect- A jaguar cub! Not sure what to do, she simply sniffed it. It seems like this cub was abandoned. Confused, she picked up the cub (Whos eyes are open, by the way) and started limping in another direction. She then found a rocky outcrop with bushes around it. Maybe this would be a good place to stay, she thought. Zahra dropped the cub and started cleaning it. It already seems like this cub was her own.

Kara saw him lay on his paws, then decided to lay next to him. It was relaxing until she heard a loud yowl. "Mom!" she thought, and got up. She ran to the site she heard the yowl.
There were two crocodiles, one with a dead bird, the other with a dead ocelot.
"Mom!" she cried out, but she knew her cries wouldn't be answered.
She climbed up a near tree, and kicked a papiya at the crocodile with her mother.
She lay on the branch, sobbing as her mother was having her flesh torn out of her body.
