Kuda cracked her eyes open. She turned her head to see a rampaging mammoth, a squashed chick, and a mother bird charging at the rampager. Kuda begged quietly to the mammoth to spare her, but knew she had little chance of surviving anyway. Then she thought of her cubs. They might die too! No more after she thought that, she was out again.

The chick, of course, was unable to scramble out of his way and was crushed. This gave Grep enough time to get up and run. She sprinted in the general direction of the saber tooth den.

Soro followed after, stamping along loudly and trumpeting, he could catch up on account of the BIRD'S FOOT BEING BITTEN, and so he tried to do so, where he would swipe it to the ground with his tusks.

(Opps, keep forgeting that. Lets say she's limping away.)
Grep squawked loudly at him and tried to go faster.

Belleza and Guapo heard running, then hid in their hole they dug. They froze and were as still as possible.

Kuda cracked her eyes again to see a bright light. It was beautiful and she reached her head to touch it. She was almost there but then put her head down. It was too painful.

Soro trumpeted and was eventually on her, he swiped his head to the side, trying to hit her.

The cubs heard trumpeting of mammoths. They were certain they were as good as dead.

Grep got hit. She fell to the ground and blacked out for a moment.

Goapo and Belleza heard something go SMACK, then fall to the ground. Belleza crawled out of her hole, and looked out of the vine. The bird was on the ground, and a mammoth was there too, but it was awake.

Soro reared and then tried to crush the titanis.

Belleza motioned Guapo up. They both watched as the mammoth reared, and tried to crush the mammoth.

Grep was turned into a mere flat bit of feathers and mush.

Soro trumpeted into the air before wiping his feet on the ground. He turned to see the mother saber cat. She had caused him no problems, so he began to nudge her with his trunk.

Fonx wandered near the saber tooth den, smelling blood and cubs. She was a hyenadon: a lone hunter with a huge head. This head had jaws that could crush metal. She had a nose that could smell out blood five miles away. Her only flaws: she was stupid, and could barely run.

Soro began to lightly push on the sabre cat with his foot and trumpeted again before turning and looking at the den to see a hyenadon.
