(Um. I dunno where exactly... Somewhere next to the river, towards the bottom. In the really sandy looking part. Me, Luna, and Summer have all been contacting each other through myself, so what's happening is being thought out... Plus a new character is being made from it... If she did come, she'd have a bloodthirsty Cashew to deal with and an unpredictable Solaris.)

Cashew relished the taste of the blood, the bitter sweetness causing her to shudder out of pleasure. She dropped the pup and ripped out a couple of chunks, swallowing deftly before noticing the sickened stare Kazimo had aimed at her. "Hungry, cupcake?" She smirked, the blood emphasizing her markings. Kazimo shook his head, turning his green eyes to stare blankly at the floor.
"You act like this is... normal."
"It's taboo. You'll learn to love it." She replied with a snicker, turning her attention to the other grey pup and leaving the carcass half eaten.
I'll learn to love it? They expect me to stay? He stared at his claws, dazed before something soft hit his legs and looked up to see Cashew facing him, a satisfied smirk on her face.
At his feet was the second dead pup, the blood blending perfectly with his red fur.
"Prove you aren't weak, Kazimo." Kazimo stared at the grey fur, then to the lifeless blue eyes and felt his heart clench- the young body at his feet was too close to his old memories of an old friend, and he could feel the edge of his vision begin to go black.
Am I having a blackout right now, of all times?
Narrowing his eyes, the male bent his head to clench his teeth tightly around the pup, feeling the bi-colored yin and yang eyes staring at him as he did. He felt the blood spurt in his mouth, tangier than what he was used to, and the guilty rush of going against his own morals.
Was this the 'Taboo' Cashew spoke of?
He closed his eyes as the blood wet his tongue, fiery and hot- this wasn't a deer or an elk. This was an animal who might very well share his own blood.
Somehow, he didn't find himself caring in those moments of tasting blood.
He hungrily ripped off a chunk of meat, swallowing greedily. He could almost sense his supposed mate smirk at him, and mutter about how 'blood always won them over'- but at the moment, his bloodlust needed to be satisfied.

Solar rubbed his muzzle against his foreleg, before glancing up at the other two. He had to admit, he was surprised that Kazimo had gone through with it. "Would anyone like this last one, or...?" He asked, lifting the remaining pup, who squirmed in his grasp. He glanced at the other, huddled in the corner- it looked sickly, even weaker than the others, and he didn't want to risk his illness over it. "Thaffone look'th un'ealthy. Ah woodn' bovver wid et" He attempted to mumble around the pup in his mouth. It might have been humorous, had the situation not been so macabre.

Cashew shook her head in disagreement when the other male asked if she wanted the 4th pup. "We could save it for later, if we want." She responded clearly. "Unless you can eat it now, that is." Kazimo was too busy with his own food to even try and interact.
The she-wolf plodded over to the small black pup, glaring at it when it opened its eyes and stared at her in fear. She stiffened slightly a the sight of its eyes- they were still the blue that a pup's eyes usually were after being born, but the green flecks in the young creature's irises proved that she would grow up to have green eyes.
Just like her own mother.
"From now on, this pup will be named Emeral," she growled. Kazimo paused in his chewing, as if the name was familiar before shrugging with a half-hearted glance at the terrified creature that was cornered by Cashew. "Let's leave this one- if we touch it, we'll probably get sick too. It'll die soon on its own, anyways." She sneered, glaring at the pup and doubted it would ever forget her.
Kazimo licked his teeth, cleaning off some of the crimson blood from his teeth and muzzle. He doubted the blood would stand out too much- that was probably the only thing he had to thank for his red fur.
His muscles immediately locked up and he stiffened, feeling the blackout try to claim his mind again, and the wolf had to use all his will power to keep it away as he clenched his eyes shut, feeling something rise in his throat.
After a few minutes, the feeling went away, leaving him to reopen his eyes to see the she-wolf giving him a concerned look. "You okay, Kip?"
"Y-yeah... just feeling a bit dizzy."
She grunted. "That's natural; happens to everyone after doing what you just did." A small, creepy smile tugged at her reddened lips, having not bothered to clean her mouth.
Kazimo gulped and nodded, finally staring down at the remains of the wolf pup he had consumed.
Did I really do that? Did I kill and eat what of my own? Shouldn't I feel more... sickened?
"Give it some time, and the and the nausea will fade away. The more you do it, the more natural it'll come to you." The she-wolf sounded smug now.
"You say that as if I will be doing this again..." Kazimo whispered warily, staring at his would-be comrade.
"Who says you won't? You're with us now. Do you really think you can run back to your cute little pack, and have them welcome back a pup-eater? Do you honestly believe that they'll ever trust you again?"
Kazimo froze. "What do you mean...? Of course I can go back- why wouldn't they trust me?" The words came frantically now.
Tasor was in that pack- Tasor was all he had left to help him. Tasor was his life. Not this.
"You're pretty naive, idiot." She smiled darkly at him, the smugness dancing in her eyes. "You ate a wolf pup. Who says you won't try it again? Why else do you think cannibals like us have no packs to be with? They can't be trusted, not after they get the taste of their own brethren's blood..."
"But I didn't want-"
"You didn't fight it. I didn't force you to eat, did I? You did that all on your own, Kazimo. You're the only one at fault for your own banishment."
Kaz glared at her before his eyes filled with defeat, and his tail slumped down, not even bothering to note that she had spoke his true name.
She was right, after all. He was a killer. He had done what his mother told him never to do.
He couldn't be trusted around his own pack mates anymore...

And somewhere off in the distance, a shiver ran up a certain silver eyed wolf's spine as the wind suddenly picked up- and all he could do was stare in confusion ahead of him, wondering what caused such an ominous feeling, before remembering something drastically important.
"Happy birthday, Kazimo. You're three years old today..." He whispered to the breeze.

"Drrn mnnd effi doo" He mumbled, before flicking his head back sharply, tossing the pup into the air. In a split second jaws widened, teeth glistened, and a sharp 'skrit' sounded as they clacked shut. He swallowed the smaller pup easily.
He gave his head a shake, ruffling his fur and giving himself a wild, chaotic look in the process, before stopping to observe the other two. It seemed Kaz was coming to his senses again, and full realization of what he had just done was beginning to dawn on him. He stayed quiet, watching the exchange. "How unfortunate." He said finally. No traces of sarcasm, nor sympathy, merely a cold, clinical observation.

(OOC: School is out for me. Going to be a bit more active from now on. No promises though. With that being said, LETS ADD A NEW CHARACTER! Seems only logical, right?))

Malcom and Tazim bounded side-by-side, the elder brother gently brushing his fur against Taz's to guide him subtly around bushes and other obstacles. They made it back to the den around sunset. Malcom thanked his lucky stars for that, too. Tazim tended to be a lot less willing to cooperate when he couldn't see at all, and often they ended up just sleeping in the middle of the forest if night caught them out.
Malcom slowed to a soft trot as the den came into view. His aqua and golden eyes narrowed in the gloom as he saw two figures standing outside of it. One he recognised as Tasor, but the other was unfamiliar. As Tazim and Malcom got closer, he noted the stranger was a female and most likely a loner, by the looks of it. She seemed to hold herself more defensively than a pack wolf would. They all did, as if ready to spring out of the way of an attack.
He knew that feeling.
Tazim nudged him and blinked up at him with questioning blue eyes, nose twitcting frantically to identify the scent. Malcom didn't want to be rude, so he gave Tazim the signal to be quiet and wait. His little brother complied, carelessly rolling over right there in the soft grass and closing his eyes, as if he was sleeping. Malcom knew better.
Turning his attention back to the female and Tasor, he gave the silver-eyed wolf a respectful nod and then focused his gaze solely on the loner. "I'm guessing you wished to see me? No loner comes this far into the Luna Pack territory without business with the Alpha."

Tasor flicked his ears slightly and took his eyes off the sunset, and forced any thoughts of Kazimo down. I'll have to apologize to him when he gets back... Maybe I'll give him a present of some sort?
He lowered his head to his alpha and the younger brother with respect, keeping his silver eyes focused just beneathe theirs to be respectful. He mumbled a small greeting, before moving to nose SunJewel forward now that the alpha was finally here.
I wonder what he's up to, Tasor wondered idly, a slightly glazed look in his eyes. He'll probably be coming back around now, right? Any moment he'll be racing up the slope, chanting my name over and over and teasing me about that silly deer.
But even with his silent optimistic hopes, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was up.

Cashew snorted softly at Solaris' lack of emotion, before nosing Kazimo roughly towards the den entrance. "C'mon, it's starting to smell in here. And we need a place to spend the night. What should we look for?" Her voice was slightly more bouncy again, the blood lust having begun to wear off as she asked the golden male wolf out of instinct.

"Hrmm..." He murmured. "I'm fine with anywhere, really- quite used to sleeping in the elements. However, I think I did spy a nice little hideaway under some crags back there." He gestured back towards where they had come from with his snout. "Perhaps we should go investigate closer."
He glanced back at the other two as he moved to exit the once-nursery-now-massacre-scene. "Like I said, though, if either of you have any other ideas, I'm fine with that." He spoke in an unaffected manner, staring out into the approaching night.

"Nope," Cashew yipped back in her now less-than-sane glee. "The trees around here are too tall and smooth to sleep in."
Kazimo followed them, but risked a last glance backwards to the little black pup they left behind and felt shame and guilt wash over his face. They were leaving that creature to die- and it looked so utterly terrified and lost...
The pup would probably grow up to be even more traumatized than he had. Being tortured by Humans for months on end was bad, but watching your entire family be massacred in front of you, and the bodies left to rot?
It was utterly disgusting...
Cashew skipped ahead of the green eyed male, glancing over her shoulder every now and then to make sure he was still with them while at the same time following Sol's lead to the supposed hideaway.

SunJewel looked at the alpha wolf. She saw Tasor had slightly lowered his head, so she did the same. She was still ready to attack if this really was a heartless pack.
She felt Tasor nose her forward, so she came forward. She remained silent, though she nodded slightly, in case she was to be scolded if she spoke first.

Malcom relaxed his stance a bit. He noticed the slightly threatened vibes coming from the she-wolf, so he lowered his head to look at her in the eyes, voice softer this time when he spoke, "Are you here seeking to join us? I'll gladly take you in, as long as you don't cause any trouble." he assured her. Tazim's blue eyes snapped open, glowing vividly in the darkness as he turned over on his side to glare in the direction of the meeting. Malcom rarely ever used that tone with anyone but his brother.

The scent of carrion attracted many animals to the destroyed den sight of Shadow Pack. However, it was not the usual gathering of crows and coyotes. One certain animal was obviously out of place in the scavenging session, and not just because of his appearance. Being the biggest animal there, the silvery-blue and white canine could have easily shooed the pecking birds by simply coming close enough to the den entrance. Instead, he stood back and watched with calculating eyes, two different shades of green.
Caj had arrived only shortly after the killing was finished. The thought of cannibals in this area was intriguing to him. After all, he had never had much luck following packs around. They shunned him for some reason. Maybe they could sense the madness in him, or perhaps it was his odd look that made them avoid him. Either way, he had learned that he was to stick with the misfits and trouble makers. With this in mind, he had decided to track this group down. It wouldn't take very long of course, but whether or not he'd be accepted was entirely unknown to him. Caj had traveled many places and met many wolves, all of which reacted to him differently. The outcome was never certain for him.
A last glance was thrown at the massacre before the canine turned and began following the scent-trail of the ones who caused it.

Solaris marched ahead calmly, glancing back every now and again to see if he was still being followed. Eventually he began to slow, the marshy ground shifting to a more rocky texture as they returned to the other territory. "I do believe it was just up..." He scanned the surrounding area. "Here." He spoke confidently, striding up to a craggy hillside. The small cavern was camouflaged against the rock quite well, if you looked quickly it would be easy to miss. It wasn't much of a cave, more of a stone awning; it sheltered the area beneath, and would keep the rain out should the weather turn inclement. "Will this suffice?" He turned to the others.

"I would like to join. I can assure you I won't be any trouble." she promised looking into the Alpha's eyes. Was she actually going to be accepted, or is it a trick? She was less tense, but was still ready to spring.

Malcom nodded after she was done speaking and stepped away. "Then welcome. I have no fancy initiation ritual as some Alphas seem to insist on having, so don't worry about having to prove yourself. There's plenty of time for that. As for a rank, you'll be one of my subordinates until we find you something more suiting. If you'd like to request a higher position, I'll be sure to think about it."
The alpha male glanced around, noting the dark sky and few members surround the den. "I'd hoped the others would be back by now, but it seems they'll be staying out late." Malcom sighed, ears twitching irritably. He dislike having his pack strung out across the land without knowing who was where. Shaking the unease off, he turned his gaze back down to the she-wolf. "I'm sorry, but it seems I've forgotten to introduce myself properly. You may call me Malcom."

SunJewel was shocked as she was now a pack member. "Thanks!" she said, all exited, but soon came back together, "I'm SunJewel." She felt the need to run and jump, but held it in.
