"No, no he is not," replied Rip. She nudged the injured female again. There wasn't anything Rip could do for her, so she hid the rest of the chicks and went to kill the male responsible, (I think his name was Ka or something like that.)

Evo was a curios chick so he decided to find out where mommy was going

[Grep42]

She found him aways away from the lake. He snarled at her. "Look at yourself, pitiful," Rip growled. (I'm going to make this male Snap, Rip's mate from earlier in the roleplay.) "What happened to your new mate, and your new chicks?"
"Now Rip, that's personal," Snap replied, "I see you've found a new mate as well,"
"Yes. Now I thought you were out of my life forever when I chased you away that day. Why don't you get your own life and live it!" Rip spat.

Evo walked up behind mommy and nuzzled her leg

Soro emerged out of the underbrush, he dozed off and found himself seperated and had to follow Rip's scent. He found her confronting a male, with an oviraptor behind him. Their own chicks seemed in danger. Soro was confused to what had happened, but for now, he just screeched and ran forward, he didn't like males around his mate and was quick to leap at the rival.

"Not now little one," Rip whispered to the chick.
"I have been living my life, Rip,"
"Then you should've stopped following me," Rip replied. Snap had that look in his eye, that obsessed look. He didn't like her leaving him. Rip decided it was time Mongolia was rid of this insane creature.

Evo stared at the screeching male and yelled "Daddy"

Rip joined Soro in the attack. Snap, weak from all the constant fighting, was easily wrestled to the ground.

Soro placed one of his feet at Snap's neck, his claw dangerously close to the jugular. "Leave my family alone...Or I'll kill you." Soro growled at Snap, absolute rage in the victorious males eyes."

"I won't go down without a fight," he said, lunging up at him. Rip pushed him back down and held down his head. "Now, do you want to leave my family alone Snap? Or do you want to die?" Rip hissed. Snap just stared defiantly at them.

Soro screeched and tried to slice the vein, but found it too late and he fell to the ground. Rip's quick thinking kept Soro from getting injured and he was up quickly, hissing and screeching and flexing his claws.

"No, I won't die and I won't leave you alone. We belong together Rip," said Snap.
"You're really crazy, aren't you?" Rip said. She bite his neck, and it was over.

Soro watched as the male was killed. For a second, Soro felt relief, then mortal terror. What was Rip going to do to him?

Evo walked up to this new male, nuzzled his leg and said"Daddy"
