Soro was right on the chicks now, he reared, trumpeted, and stomped down, trying to crush them.

Grep was too occupied on her fight to notice. Either that, or she didn't care that the mammoth was near. The chicks scattered, trying to get away.

As the bird kicked, Kuda's fangs sunk into its feet. Kuda fell. Her neck and jaw hurt. She didn't want to get up. She got kind of tired, aaaand, she was out. Back at the den, the cubs were digging deeper in the den to have a better chance of survival! Not really, they were having a digging contest for fun. The poor cubs might not survive.

Grep chuckled to herself, kicked the cat again as a warning, and turned around to see her chicks being stomped by a mammoth.

Soro was turning left and right, herding the chicks from getting away and trying to hit them with his tusks with force enough to break their bones, or crush them into the ground.

Grep charged at the mammoth. She was trying to get it's attention away from her chicks.

Soro ignore the bird because he knew that in the long run, it couldn't really hurt him, at least badly. He just trumpeted loudly and continued to try and kill the chicks.

(Wait, how come Grep doesn't feel pain? My fangs went in her foot!)

One of the chicks were smashed. The other ran in a blind panic towards her. She moved out of the way when the mammoth ran past after the chick. She could have other chicks in her lifetime, no one clutch mattered that much.

Soro lifted his foot to see a titanis chick pancake. He wiped his foot on the ground before turning and charging the titanis mother and baby, swinging his head from side to side to hit them and send them flying.

Grep was knocked over, a serious problem for a bird so big. Her chick was hit also, and went unconcious.

Soro turned to the mother, he reared, then dropped down, trying to crush her.

Grep quickly rolled out from under the feet and tried to get up. Don't laugh, its just birds on their backs are pretty helpless.

Soro bellowed then turned to the unconcious chick. He reared and tried to crush it this time.
