Rip swung around and went to drive her switch-blade claw into his neck.

Shale growled again, yanking back once again and another snap followed, (and a loud, pained wail from K'arr...) he was, to say the least, pleased. K'arr scrambled to his feet (foot) and started slowly working his way away from the two.

Evo started to follow the limping male away from the safety of his new mommy

Rip went over to the young chick. She didn't want any others around that cannibal.

Evo was following the mean raptor when his new mommy stopped him.It was ok that when Evo said "Mommy"

Odd, that chick spoke oviraptor. She leaned down to get a better look, it was an oviraptor! She growled at the demon creature.

Shale let out a breath and limped over to the female, who was snarling at her chick."...Why're upset with him?" He asked hesitantly, staring at the young.

"This is no velociraptor, it's an oviraptor!" she explained in a frustrated tone.

"Mommy why you so angry?"Evo asked

Rip cocked her head to one side. Her motherly side didn't want her to kill a chick, even if it wasn't hers. She sighed, "No reason," picked up the chick and went back to the injured female. She nudged her, it was still unconcious.

"Mommy, where's daddy at?"Evo asked

The male decided to follow them, but also decided it's best he stayed back a bit. "Oviraptor, huh?" He said slowly, staring at the chick with interest before glancing at the hurt one. "Will she be okay?" He nodded towards the female that lay unconcious on the dry earth, a tiny puddle of blood around her.

Evo saw the male following and ran back to him yelling "Daddy"

"No, I don't think so," said Rip sadly, "Little one that isn't your daddy, your daddy is the one who hasn't talked in a while even though major parts of the plot are going on."
