He eyed her causiously from the ground, expecting her to attack him at any second. "Sorry." He repeated slowly, ice-blue eyes wide.

"Why are you so deep in my territory? Stealing prey?"

Evo looked up at the male why was he here, I wonder why

[Swifty]

"Getting away from him." He growled, nodding his head towards the male that was laying down near the lake, glaring at them and the chicks while he nursed his newly broken leg.
"I'm not here to steal prey." Shale said flatly, keeping his facial expressions neutral.

"Ok then. One momment," she shooed the chicks from the injured male, he could still snap them up. "Now, what should I do with you?"

Evo walked up to the strange male talking to his new mommy, and tried to bite him.

[Swifty]

"That isn't up to me, is it?" He asked softly.
Shale winced as he moved his head to glance at the male a ways away, who was still looking at the chicks as if they were something to eat. He frowned, digusted by the injured, apparently cannibalistic male. He squawked awkwardly as the little Oviraptor clamped onto his arm. He stared blankly before gently shaking him off and scooting back a slight bit.

Rip watched closely. She didn't have a particuarly large urge to get him away so she just kept an eye on him.

Angry males POV:(name him for me?)

The large male narrowed his eyes at the young chicks, slinking closer to them while the female had her back turned. In truth, he was hungry, and the small chicks were just big enough for a meal. If he could get past the female, that is.

The chicks, curious, went towards the strange male. Rip turned around in time to hear one squeak and see the large male bite one. She charged, clawing, biting, and generally beating him up.

Evo saw hunger in the eyes of the angry male limping towards him and the other chicks, scared he chirped loudly

Rip had knocked out the offending male and was now looking at the chick he bit. It was one of the females. She had lost some blood and was passed out on the beach. Rip licked her, trying revive the young chick.

K'arr snarled at the female as she attacked, his jaws unclamping from the small, now injured chick and went to sink his teeth into the females neck. He was surprized as he felt the other male bite into his already-broken leg. K'arr shrieked and lashed his tail at the male, also while trying to fend off the female and get to one of the chicks.
