He was never one for games, much-less tag. He never seemed to win in his old pack, seeing as they all seemed to be twice his size. But Ice really seemed to want him to play, oddly enough. "Uhokay" he burted and dashed after her after a moment of hesitation.

Icestorm could run for miles! Feeling her heartbeat thump and the wind blowing through her hair was enough. She started out at a slow steady pace and slowly accelerated fowards. She liked the rush. She liked the game. After she had completed a full 1 mile lap she ran up the stone of the main den and sat on top. Her chest outwards in a proud pose. She then tilted her head back an howled a song of hapiness.

He jogged up beside her and panted heavily. "You're it.... after I...rest... for a week.."

[Summerbreeze]

"Ok, Proffesor" She said as she jumped down.

[Swifty]

He sprawled in the grass and looked at the sunset. "s'getting late." he murmured absently.

She did the same, " y 'know you gonna have to tell me, right?" she asked.

[Swifty]

"Nothing to tell. Just a bad experience." he murmured, not making eye-contact.

She looked at hia expression " I guess you donn't have to." she quickly added " I can tell you mine?"

[Swifty]

"If you want to, then I'll listen." he smiled slighly.

" Well thaen, ok. I was born in this den the only survivor of four. My mother, who had mated with a loner, was part of this pack. She was beta. At that time there was a beta male." She paused looking at Dire. " My mother did not want him to know. So she cleaned me and left. I have not seen her since."

[Swifty]

"Sorry to hear that.." he said softly and let out a deep sigh. "Fine. I'll tell you," Dire muttered flatly. "My parents died. Humans picked them off and uses their pelts for rugs and jackets." He said absently, eyes looking far away. "Keme went out alone to find a new pack, and so did I. at the time I was only a year old and thats when Kyle's pack found me. Practically tore me to shreads before the alpha said tht I either had to join them, or be left to die from my wounds. I went with them, that's it."

Icestorm jolted back her eyes filled with tears "they are dead?" she asked. " Oh my g.od, Dire I- Im so sorry!"

"I-it's fine. I don't need any pity." he murmured.

She looked at the wolf " You need to stop downgrading yourself. You are as good as anyone in that disrespectful pack and you know it!" another tear escaped her eye.

He frowned at her and shook his head. "Think we should be getting home now?" All they could see of the sun now was a faint glow on the grassy horizon.
