Soro faked death again.

Rip left the den, she couldn't spend all day playing. She looked around the area carefully for predators, made sure the carcass was still good to eat and not rotten, and brought back breakfast.

Soro faked horror as the chicks continued to "attack" him. "No, please! Have mercy! I'm too young to..." Then he faked death again.

Looking up, the chicks tackled her and wrestled away the food. "They sure are getting strong, aren't they," she chuckled to Soro.

"Yes, they are." Soro muttered, getting up.

The chicks were now about half their size, except for the odd red one. "You know, it's about time they learn to pull their own weight. Why don't we show them the territory, so they can start patrolling," she said.

Soro shook his head. "Let's wait until their a little larger, I don't think it's a good idea right now to be giving them responsibilities, if they're going to be pulling their own weight, let them gain some more weight." He said.

"Well, alright. But I don't want to have to be doing all the work," Rip replied, "speaking of patrolling, I'm going to have a look around, see whats nearby."

Soro nodded and watched her leave, and when he turned, he saw the chicks staring at him. "Oh no..." He muttered, and they charged him again.

Rip sniffed the air a ways away from their current nest site. Old theizosaurus smell, oviraptor, aloramious, and velociraptor scent. It was Snap and his family again. She followed the trail, it looped back towards the nest site.

Callidor lumbered around in the plains for a while hoping to find evidence of a herd that he could join, but he found nothing except for some very small Gallimimus. He traveled a out into land unknown by migrating herbivores. He stopped when he came across a lone velociraptor. " Wait why am I afraid" he said to himself. He went on not even sniffing at the small predator. " Now I know this is velociraptor territory. I'll have to keep that in mind. There's always more than you bargain for." he said quickly sniffing around to see if there is more. He smells a nest with chicks and decides its best to hurry on. And with that he quickens his wandering amble to a power walk.

A large saurapod was ambling around their territory. Rip hissed at it, those things were nussinences, and could easily trample a young velociraptor. She went back to the trail, which turned yet again away from the nest. Thankful that they didn't go to her home, Rip went back to the nest.

As Callidor was walking a rock the size of his head came pelting down and crashed into the ground in front of him. He immediately turned tail and ran. In a one dinosaur stampede he ran back the way he came trampling everything in his path. He heard the sound of velociraptor chicks but didn't think about going the other way. Somewhere in the back of his fairly large head a little voice was saying " It doesn't matter if there are a few less predators in the world. Better them than you. He sped up as the sound got louder and passed the velociraptor he had seen earlier.
