Scotland's eyes widen at the remark. Cute? He thinks I'm cute, even though my first words to him were hostile? She ponders this, not sure whether the tom is kind of dim or if he really doesn't care. Sitting up now, the cream and white she-cat looks down at him and cocks her head to the side. "You used to be a house cat? I never would have guessed," she mews. Then, at his question, she glances back at her house. After a moment, she shakes her head and returns her gaze to him. "No. I hate it," she growls with frustration, starting to pace again along the fence. "But what can I do?"

Mink perked his ears at the other cat's words, raising his head. He wasn't sure what the other rogues would make of this news, not that he planned on mentioning it, but he himself was rather thrilled to begin to reassemble some part of this puzzle. "The logic's certainly there." He began to consider what this would mean; did he have siblings, family around here somewhere? It was a strange prospect for him to consider. "I wonder how I ended up so far away on my own..." He mused aloud, though mostly to himself.

The blonde warrior kept his friendly smile. She didn't seem as scary as she tred to be before. "I guess it is kind of surprising. I was raised in Thunderclan." He didn't think to check if she knew about clans or their names. "Maybe you would like it better if you joined Thunderclan. Our leader started as a kittypet, so I know for sure he'd let you stay. I am a warrior there, name's Thunderstrike."
"We'll leave as soon as we get our reward." Betel told Firestar while padding toward him, a grumpy, unamused frown on his muzzle. (I guess it'd be more fun if someone else played the role of Firestar.)

Talla grinned, and curled her tail around Littlepaw, her amber eyes gazing down at her.

Firestar's muzzle twitched. Rogues were always quite needy and expected a lot from clans. "Leafpool and I have discussed your reward, and we've got it all packaged up here. We thank you for giving us help in return for a night of shelter and a reward for your time given to us." The male said, using his paw to push forward the carefully leaf-covered medicine equipment. Betelgeuse had someone else carry it. "Thanks." The Vile group leader replied. As an act of letting Firestar know he wasn't truly the best of "buddies" with him yet, the rogue happily took a nicely plump rabbit from the kill pile. It seems like others followed right after him. "See you around. We're off, come on!" The leader called for his group, and even if they didn't follow right away, they'd either be chased out or would find their way back eventually. Most of the cats right away began to follow their leader.
He headed back to his camp, plopping the rabbit down on campus. Snakeskin was no where to be found, it seemed, and the tree of which had fallen was right next to the border of their camp, leaving two nests for the tree to happily lay on. Betel's face grew sour, taking his time to stretch and scratch the tree repeatedly, not minding the weirded out looks of his followers. "What are you doing?!" The leader nearly screamed in anger. "Go find Snakeskin!" He growled, the rogues with wide eyes kind of spreading out to go on a look out for Snakeskin, wherever he may be.
Tornear padded out of the elder's den, eyes looking for Ravenfeather. As soon as he could make out his son's fur, he began to sit down and glance at him. He wanted to say something to him, however was unsure as to exactly what he should say or how to say it. Eyes averted to the floor, wondering if he'll be hated for not being so fatherly to him pretty much all his life. He was, in fact, a good father, until he could keep hold of memories, at least, where Tornear had to fight wars and was held in the medicine den for battle scars and injuries.

Snakeskin watched as one of the adders stealthily moved around through the rocks, it's scales making a soft scratching sound that he could barely hear. Louder and more persistant was the thump of footsteps, and he curled is lips in disgust.
Silly little comrades, they could at least try to be quiet. He ignored the voice when it began to call out his name repeatedly. When the figure ran out from under the very tree Snake was perched on, he wondered with slight curiousity if the adders would silence his comrade.
But then I'd get scolded by my little 'leader' for not lifting a claw to help... what a pity. The other cat- What was this one's name again? Scamp? Skeer? started calling out his name, in an annoyingly highpitched and almost nasily voice. Snakeskin vaugely remembered this cat by the orange colored fur and distinctive voice, but other than that he had no reason to make pretend-friends- not with scum that wouldn't make himself gain anything.
Snakeskin had just begun to wonder what his leader would say if accidently killed this cat, but dismissed the thoughts and waited for the cat to pause directly under him. He leaped, claws outstreched and landed squarely on the other's shoulders to pin him into the ground.
"Think fast." He purred in a silky manner before digging his claws a little more. In response, the other began to yowl loudly and struggle, and Snakeskin allowed himself to be pushed off when the orange cat rolled onto his side.
"What the heck?! Were you trying to kill me, you good for nothing-"
Snake cut the other's rant off with a swat to the muzzle, effectivly silencing the others. "Respect your elders, Scamp."
"My name is-"
"I don't really care. I assume you had a good reason to look for me?"
"Our leader wishes to see you. He is-"
"Back at camp, yes, we've been through this." Snake spoke in a quiter voice. This hadn't been the first time he had simply vanished from his leader's ever watchful eyes. By now, it had become almost a game between them- Snake constantly pushing the boundries of his younger leader's orders, while said leader constantly trying to tame him with more orders. Without another word, Snakeskin bounded ahead of his now slightly disgruntled comrade to rejoin his leader. Wonder what the campt looks like now...

Betel was chipping away at the tree of which had fallen next to their camp area, his claws being finely resharpened, liking this idea of using fallen trees to his bidding. Remembering the medicine pouch of which was left nearby his back leg, he tore away the leaves to reveal the lovely reward he's wanted for a long time. There were plenty of poppy seeds, it seems, and other juicy materials he couldn't recognize, however one of the members of which was much like a medicine cat would probably make out what they were for and all that jazz. He looked at the air, then at the ground, his mind processing nothing. Nibbling on a rabbit leg as he lay, he began to think of that she-cat of which thought him to be an angel. Ears growing hot yet again, his eyes averted, not wanting to think of her anymore. It was weird, he couldn't understand it. He didn't want to feel his ears hotten, however he kind of wanted to all the same. He hated mixed feelings, leaving him there to grow agitated and lazily torture the dead rabbit as he slowly ate it.
Noticing the arrival of Snakeskin made it worse. "You're alive." He said bitterly. He began to snicker. "Your nest is occupied by a tree, by the way. But since you're an elder and all I'll let the other tom make two new beds since his is also occupied by this lovely... lovely little tree.." As he said this he began to scratch at the tree again, mind filtered with trying not to think of Kin.

Snake returned his leader's amuesment with a stone-blank face. "Dearest leader, I am happy that you are so englightened by such a misfortune thrown upon me... however, you should get your facts straight. I am merely 5 years old, still young enough to do whatever I please." His voice held a slight challenge with a fake merit that he had perfected over the years. "Of course, I could always spend the night with the cats you have been around..." he suggested upon smelling the different cat-scents on the younger tom. "I'm sure I'd be no burden to them." He went on, voice growing quieter and yet still silkier.

Scotland stops pacing and sighs. "Oh, you have no idea how many times I've thought of that. But I'm just a house-cat, and if anything my friends say is true, I'd never make it out there," she mews, ears down. Now she looks back down at this 'Thunderstrike' (She finds it an odd but dramatic name and wonders if there's a story behind it.) and frowns. "You mentioned something called 'ThunderClan'. I've heard of the clans, but not that. Is it a specific group or...?" she trails off, not wanting to make herself look stupid, even if she really is on that subject.
Ravenfeather is quiet for a moment as he thinks, then he asked the question that was still bugging him, "Why, do you think, do we look so....alike?" His amber eyes widen and he doesn't dare mention the thought that's come to his head. We're not related, are we? The thought that he could have another sibling or family member other than Dawnpaw both intrigues and overjoys him at the same time. After his parents died, he was sure his little sister would be all he had left for the rest of his life.

The leader grunted. "You're older than all of us, so you're kind of an elder here." He replied. "That reminds me, Snakeskin, I have an odd question for you. Do you know of anyone by the name of.. what were they.. Nick? Yayn? Yin? and..." He made a small gulp. "Kin?" His ear twitched nervously, though usually answering questions like these would never make him nervous.
Thunderstrike nervously gazes back at Scotland. "Oh! I forgot to explain. Yes, there are four clans, one of being Thunderclan, of which lives here in these woods. I'm sure you can make it, we're not too far away and I can.." Eyes grew wide as he thought of saying this "e-escort you there." He finished, ear twitching in slight nervousness. He didn't consider that maybe she was saying "make it out there" as in living and staying alive in Thunderclan when she's been a kittypet up until now. "If it weren't for my parents finding Thunderclan, I'd be staying with twolegs and get fattened up all day. Without having to hunt for food or mentoring others, I'd be a fat kitty with my owners." He said somewhat embarrassingly, hoping it would make a good point. He wasn't much for making good points.

His eyes widen ever so slightly at the cat's words. Could he be looking at his own kin? It was true, the similarity was striking. "It's not a terribly unrealistic notion to think that we might be-" He paused as he heard the word's of his leader. They were leaving, now? He gave an exasperated sound, there was still so much he wanted to discuss... Quickly, the wheels in his head began turning. He gave a desperate glance in the direction of the other tom, and then to his leader, and then back to the other cat. He couldn't hang around right now, he doubted either Betel or the other clan's leader would be happy if he hung around. "...We'll talk again soon. Until we meet again, Ravenfeather." He bowed his head slightly in parting before reluctantly bounding off in the direction of his leader.
Before too long he emerged in the area his group called home, and returning to his silent state began to assess the damage the trees had caused. One had landed in a rather unfortunate place, destroying a couple nests in the process.

Snakeskin lazily tipped his head up, drawling out the names in a bored manner. "Nick, Yin, and Kin you say...?" He briefly closed his leaf-green eyes, and almost immidiatly an onsloght of images attacked him. So, I suppose they're still alive... He then tilted his head back down to regard his leader, and a small smirk formed around his lips, his scars making him look a bit more gruesome. "If by chance you mean a dark brown tom with an orange chest, ringed tail, and a head filled with a clouds, a little himalayan runt, and an idiotic white she-cat with a single black striped down her back... then no, those names mean absolutely nothing to me." He nearly purred out the last words as he padded quietly around the fallen tree, assesing the damage. He could always borrow one of the others' nests or just sleep in a tree like he was so accustomed to, and as he pondered where he would sleep the orangeish blur of his comrade skidded into camp, panting and glaring at the 5 year old. Snakeskin simply twitched his whiskers at him, wondering if the nasily voiced tom would complain about his ambush.

Ravenfeather gives a half-hearted smile, dipping his head slightly as Mink says goodbye. "Hope to see you again," he meows and watches the tom follow his group, then he gives a tired sigh and heads for the warriors den. He hadn't realize how tired he was until now, and he barely looks to make sure he's even getting in the right nest before laying down. The black and white tom curls up in the soft bed of moss and-
"What the.." he mutters and turns to look at Cedarleaf, nearly all the way into Ravenfeather's nest. He looks at the brown tom with an unamused expression and sighs. "Whatever." Then he lays down and curls up next to the other, not even bothering to try and shove Cedarleaf out. It would have been pretty easy, but sleep sounds so nice he just doesn't care.

Scotland nods slowly, somewhat understanding what Thunderstrike is telling her. She has so many questions, like 'How big are the clans?' and 'What's your role in it all?', but she stays quiet, mulling over it all. Scotland focuses back on him when he suddenly stutters and she gives him a look that is slightly amused. She still finds it unbelievable that this tom, stronger and much more confident than that of any of the other toms in her neighborhood, lived in a house like her own. At his words, she raises her chin, amber eyes alight. "Not all of us are soft-pawed fatties." With this, she gracefully leaps from her fence and stands in front of the yellow tom, a small challenging smile on her face. "Well now, Thunderstrike, you said something about escorting me?"

Thunderstrike's ears hottened as he realized what he's done. "Oh.. um.." The cat turned to look at the woods, embarrassed. "Of course." He suddenly smiled back at her, a gentle, sweet smile, like a young gentleman escorting his little princess to somewhere special. He began to pad to the woods, knowing exactly where he was going. "So when you join Thunderclan, you will be given a new name. A warrior name, most likely, and I'll probably have to teach you general knowledge. I wonder what your name will be.. I hope it will be as pretty as yo--" His obvious beginning-of-a-crush slipped right through him, making him stop himself suddenly, completely embarrassed and in panic mode. "I mean yarrows! Pretty as yarrows." He said very fast and nervously, feeling dumb for once.
Betel gazes at the older tom, blinking blankly. If he's a relative, maybe like a father or something, then I wouldn't have to worry about him.. score! He thought to himself, smiling innocently and returning to his precious scraping of the trees. Wait, what was he thinking? Oh, what does it matter, the mighty and handsome Betelgeuse has no emotions, right? Well, get over it then, Betel, and continue being that handsome leader that orders everyone around and keeps them straight!

Snakeskin twitched his tail at his leader before giving a small grunt. His nest was completely and utterly destroyed. Slowly he walked up to his fellow orange comrade, glancing back at his leader who seemed distracted with claw sharpening. "Tell Beatle that I'm going to finish my scouting and find a more suitable nest whenever he's done with preening his claws." He muttered lowly, not giving the annoying younger tom a chance to argue as he swiftly dissapeared into the woods, making a fast pace back to his new haven so he could return to reptile-watching.
Springsand twitched her ears when her mentor entered the den, and hid her snickers when he discovered his cuddly nest-mate. She stood up, still not tired, and watched her brother mutter random things in his sleep and twitching his paws. Despite her recent mourning at the possible loss of her brother, he was absolutely adorable when asleep. He's also like a minature fire, though... hope Ravenfeather doesn't mind a minature heat radiator in his nest. She silently padded out of the den, glancing out a bit before leaving the camp entirely. She wanted to explore, and to get a certain cat off her mind. Stupid rouge leaders taking away my concentration... She trotted on through the forest, her thoughts moving on to wondering if the other had passed on the message to 'Snakeskin'. If he is the same cat that fathered me, I wonder if I could talk to him...
Lost in thoughts, Springsand didn't notice when she began to smell a heavy scent of snakes- when she finally did notice, she paused and allowed the shivering to take over her body, before clumsily climbing up a tree to rest on the low hanging branch. Snakes had always scared her; they could kill with a single bite and could shed their skins for new bodies- totally un-catlike in any possible way.
