"I'm sorry!" Lailas blurted, eyes wide. "and... and... I don't know."
The female stood up and furrowed her brow as she looked around. "Jewel?" she called timidly.

"Right here" Jewel said coming up from behind him as she set down the pup. She looked behind her, checking for the cheetah and honey badger that they just ran from.

"oh good." She whispered sincerely and glanced at Soro. "Lets go?" she whimpered in a pained voice, her stomach wound bleeding worse than ever and trailing down her legs and drying in her soft fur.

Soro nodded. "Eh, it's fine, and good to see you got out." Soro said, the last part, of course, to Jewel. "Yeah, I think we should find shelter first, get to the formalities later." Soro said before picking up the pup he was carrying before againa nd walkin away, looking for a burrow.

"no not again"Klap said nervously, he did not want to be carried"I'll walk"

"I... okay." she mumbled, following after Soro hastily.

Aadi searched and searched for food. She was famished, when she finally smelt something. She felt her heart leap with joy. She followed the scent, Meerkats, she mumbled, they weren't always a easy meal. But she could try. It was then she heard a clap of thunder. Caught by surprise, she yelped. On the horizon, storm clouds lurked. She continued. Then smelling a carcass, she suddenly bounded the other way. Finally reaching her destination. She dug into the freshly caught meat. She didn't realize it was fresh. Or that there was a lion right behind her. The lion roared. She turned around... And what she saw was a lion attempting to pounce on her... She dodged. She was not losing this meal. Even if it wasn't hers, she growled at the lion, ears flattened and hackles raised. The lion roared and swiped at her. She whimpered then ran off. It seemed like luck was not on her side.

Oh great, lions. I hate those guys... Horror thought as she climbed out of the meerkat den. She growled at the lion, who only stared defiantly back.

(Me and the lion are really far away from you... Well, not REALLY far. But far enough to where you can’t see... But you can smell it. )
