She let out a laugh. " Really?!" she giggled " I have never heard that before!" She walked towards the main den. " This is it. Not anything special... But it's enough for me and the pups." She turned around to look at the young wolf. " What did your pack do to you?" Right then she wondered if she had said to much. But probably not. Probably.

His whole body tensed at her question. He opened his mouth to answer, but promptly closed it and looked down. "Nothing. Does not matter." Dire said stiffly and glanced at the den. "You have pups?"

" Well yes, 5 actually. But they are 2 miles away from here. I left a She-Wolf two years from your age in charge of them." she said, wondering if he would ask to see them. " Three girls and two boys." She gulped as she did not mention Enzo. ( And you have the like worst grammar ever like this is you: i gotta go b riy bac guyes getz oott off mye bizznizz, btw.)

The young male nodded silently, his white fur waving with the winds movements. "I like pups," he mumbled absently and his ear perked at the sounds of distant bird-calls and the howling of the growing wind. "So… how many others are in your pack?" Dire questioned as he raised his snout to smell the forest around them.

The She-Wolf relaxed her muscels. "Lots of wolfs are in this pack. But not to many females so the males are on a hunting spree."

Dire nodded and had to resist the urge to blurt out 'are we there yeeeettt?', but instead remained silent, eyes downcast.

"Oh. Aahh.. when arethe males coming back" He asked hesitantly and looked around, suspecting them to pop up any time and confront him.

She thought " Well, as you know the alpha male left. I think he is dead. But, I have a mate his name is Keme. He will be home tomorrow. The pups..." She paused thinking of what she was saying " Are his." She looked at the young wolf " Um.. How rude of me to ask but do you know about um... certain...Things??? she asked stupidly.

His eye widened as she said her mate was Keme. Keme... no it couldnt be. It had to be another Keme, another wolf that couldn't had been his older brother. Dire cleared his throat and looked at her awkwardly, not getting what he meant, his head reeling. "Uh, erm, things?" he questioned stupidly, his thoughts still straying to his brother, Keme.

She tilted her head " To bad his little brother died. You two were the same age!" She shook her head. " Let's go to bed now."

"...oh?" he said quietly, face screwed up in thought. "Oh. bed, sure." The wolf said bleakly and followed her into the main den, which smelled like dirt, and, somehow, warmth.
