Myst looked at her closely, checking for any wounds. She didn't see anything, and she wasn't sure how she could break her leg anyway. "What did you do to break your leg? Hop off a mountain?" She said the last part a bit quieter, but overall she was nervous. The wound on Mysts back hurt, but she stood there, listening.

Hope shrugged."Maybe someone else broke it...when i was asleep in the den and no one was there...Maybe someone dragged me out...Then put me back in..Someone who wants to become alpha.So badly that she spat in front of me when i was nearly dead.So badly that she was going to challenge me as soon as i woke up...Taboo..."She said her name as if it was a curse.

Hope lowered her ears in sadness.She doesn't believe me..She thought,sadly.But she walked begrudgingly back to the pack den.She fell asleep inside.Lily was beside her to protect her.

Myst followed behind her slowly. Once they reached the pack den, she watched her fall asleep. A mouse as a bodyguard? Myst thought to herself. What could a mouse do to protect a wolf? She sighed and looked around for Mila and the other wolf she never learned the name of.

Myst glared at the mouse, not really listening to what the mouse said. Instead, she sat down and continued looking around, her markings softly glowing.

Lily shook with fear.She didn't like this wolf much.It was glaring,and glaring meant eating.Being near a mouse of her size and being an adult wolf was scary.Especially if it had nearly killed you before.

Myst could sense that the mouse was scared, and turned around looking at the mouse. "Scared?" She asked somewhat threatening, but mostly confused. She was still thinking about Hope and how she fainted before.
