Rip nodded and started towards home to. The chicks were very happy to see real meat, and ate it ravenously. Afterwards, Rip teased and played with them.-

Soro was keeping watch ontop of a sand dune. He would not let anything harm his chicks without going through him first, but he wouldn't challenge a larger creature because he was mad at it, only to save his family.

Rip was soon worn out from there sheer energetic-ness. She sat in the shade of the tree and watched them. Two of them started messing with the one-armed chick. She didn't interfere, just watched. The chick would get no benefit from being saved or treated special because of his disability. He needed to learn how to deal with it.

Soro looked back to find the one armed chick being bullied. He screeched and ran forth, blocking the two other chicks from the one-armed chick. He picked it up by the tail and carried him up the dune and set it down before laying down next to it. It nuzzled against his leg.

Rip glared at him. Why must males be so difficult. One tries to get you killed, the other is overprotective. She got up and played around with the others for a while. She would have to talk to him about this eventually.

Grey continued to trudge across the desert. She didn't have a real territory, never really needed one. Males never chased her away, and she could easilly beat up another female. And, of course, prey also roams without a care. She stalked around, her "chicks" following noisily.

Ther watched the alioramus. He could still see them, and whether or not they were intentionally following, he didn't know, but they were going the same way nontheless. He walked down the dune and rejoined his herd, who were still desperately looking for other therizinosaurs.

Gore had spotted the theizsaurs again, and was already tensing up for a chase. "Gore, we're leaving now. If you want to die at the claws of these creatures, thats your choice," Grey said as she was walking away. She was leading them to her old nest spot, a shady area under an old tree.

On the next dune, Ther noticed the predators turn away. He bellowed loudly and climbed back down, heading to the lake.

Sniff was that sniff aloramis she smelt. Rip looked around, remembering her last encounter with large carnivores. She herded the chicks up the tree, calling to Soro.

What was that in her tree. Ah, little ceratops munchers. "These things make great snacks, children. I'll teach you how to catch them,"

Soro grabbed the one armed chick and let it stand on his nose, he stood as tall as he could and, with quite a struggle, the chick managed to climb up. "I'd rather you not focus on the complete young more, that one is still strong." He called up before hiding under a large scrub bush.

"I'm not focusing on them more! He has to learn how to take care of himself, just like the others," she whispered back furiously.

Grey started towards the tree. The "ceratops munchers" were a little higher than she could reach. She leaned on it. "This is how to get tree climbers down. Break their tree,"

Soro hissed and listened for any noise or sniffed the air.

Rip screeched down at the aloramous. It just grinned at her, and continued to knock down the tree. Creek the tree wouldn't hold for long.

The next thing Soro knew, an alioramus was pushing against the tree. He couldn't fight that...but he couldn't abandon his family. He began screeching loudly and angrily, trying to buy the attention of the predator, get it away from his family.
