Nova leaned down and arched her eyebrows. "Climb on up." She smirked at Scuttle's slightly miffed look at the way Shadow carried sand, and nudged her with her nose.

((I was joking. I like refering to the writer as a separate entity. ...But Skyeler can try to eat Scuttle (again) if she wants. lol))

Scuttle sighed. "Fiiiine." She clambered onto Nova's neck and sat down, holding on tightly. "So... how fast are you going to run?" she asked lightly. The thought that had occurred to her made her a little nervous, but there was no way she was going to let that keep her from enjoying this ride. So... she toughed it out.

...Seriously, though, one would think that wolf rides were a little less common. And then again...

Nova raised her eyebrows and shrugged. "I can't run that fast, due to an old leg injury...so if we needed to run, you'd probably have to ride Shadow." The black wolf muttered, paws snapping the dry twigs andbranchs underfoot.

Yeah, I know. I was the only one at first. And technically, Nova was orignally a dog, but I decided to make her a wolf for the 'forest' rp thing, because, y'know, dogs don't live in the forest.

I could make her a dog again, so there'd be one less woof?

She'd look the same sorta, but about the size of a labrador instead of a wolf.

((So, are we going along with assuming that Sand is with them, or accepting that she went back to her burrow? Foxesrule?))

She let out a breath she hadn't known she'd been holding. "Well, then, that's... that's good," she said airily, sounding quite relieved. "No need to go any faster than we have to." Scuttle sat up so she wasn't clinging for dear life. She knew, after all, that the ride wasn't going to go as terribly fast as she had thought.

Skyeler leaped off the branch she was just perching on, and headed back to her nest. She started rethinking the whole "Save My Sister Courageously" thing. It was quite dangerous, and she might get caught too!
Skyeler really wanted her sister back, but she couldn't pay the cost unless she won the lottery. You almost never win the lottery.
She realized, she'd never see her sister again.

(Yup, lets just say Sand went back to her burrow. And yeah, I guess Natureheart. And Swifty, it's your choice. I think theres some sort of wild dog that lives in the forest/jungle...But I'm not sure.)

Nova snorted, her tail brushing the soft ferns and grass below them as she slowly walked after the wolf. The rays of sunlight from the fading sun bounced off the leaves and dew-drops. She knew her markings must have been letting off a soft glow, seeing as they were in the shadows now.

"Why aren't you scared of me?" Nova blurted suddenly to the squirrel on her shoulders. "Almost everyones scared of me. I mean, I don't exactly look friendly or anything. I know for a fact my eyes are creepy, so aren't... you creeped out at least?'
