I've been recently looking into getting a tablet... I saw a review where someone got a Bamboo and a Intuos, compared them, pros and cons, and in the end recommended the Intuos. I also asked someone on a site I go on, who I know uses a tablet, if they had any suggestions, and they also said to get a Wacom of some sort - like Intuos, or Graphire - but NOT Bamboo.

A tablet is pretty much like... a pad you draw on with a special little pen for it, like you would with pencil and paper.

Hm. I have Bamboo. The pen got messed up once, but it seems pretty good so far.

The review said the bamboo draw's larger. The person said it's comparable to drawing with a brick. Just what I've heard, though, I've never touched a tablet, or laid eyes on one, in my life.

So you never even seen a picture of the product you wish to buy...? That's just sad, dude...anyway, in all seriousness I have a bamboo tablet myself. Yes, I find that it does draw large but you learn to control it. The only thing I would figure would be bad about it is that it's pen is delicate or the plastic point. Break that thing and your just doomed. :shock: I would continue to research on the product however. Many people seem to recommend the Bamboo since it gets the job done and it is at an affordable price to most. You know...I don't know...I got my tablet for free so I'm perfectly content. I guess it depends oh how serious you are about using it.

Now I do, too. ;-; But I doubt I'll be getting one anytime soon. My Bamboo does its job and isn't a year old yet, so I'm probably stuck with it till it dies.
The zooming in and out was a bit annoying though.. still.. that tablet looks like it'd kick butt. 8D

Well, everyone seems to have a Bamboo, so I guess I'll aim for something else, and report back on how good it is.

Yeah. I'd love one so much, but the absolute cheapest they go are around 2000$. o.o; I'd have to get a full-time job and work for a year. No thanks. xD

I've been working on some simple animations lately. Haven't finished any though. I'm weird like that. xD;

2k? Jeezums. My birthday list includes a laptop but if i get it at all, it'll be for Christmas. I doubt I could fit in another tablet at the same time. ^.^;

When it comes to animating, I'm quite impatient.
And now I keep trying to draw semi-manga people. x3 I wanna draw kitties, but a robotic song makes me draw humanborgs all the time. I'll get back to kitties soon. To the nom song!
