Taboo watched the pack descend into caous, over a mouse! This wouldn't happen if I had been leader.

Hope relaxed her body.Lily the mouse scurried up her shoulder."You don't need to be on your old pack's territory.It may comfort you,but that will run out soon."And with that remark,Hope started walking back to the den.Strangely,she was limping.It felt as if her back right paw was broken.She was 6 feet in front of Myst when she collasped,unconcious,on the ground.

Taboo smiled, careful to be unoticed. This may be my chance. As soon as she wakes up, I should challenge her.

Hope could hear and think.She could see blurry,too."Taboo...you..will never..get my rank..."She whispered.And fell into deeper unconsciousness.

Myst was just about to protest back at Hope, but stayed quiet. She looked at the ground and sighed, when she suddenly heard a thump. She quickly looked up to see Hope lying on the ground, unconscious. Confused, she backed away a few steps, staring at her.

(Is she a mind reader? Taboo was thinking.)
Taboo spat on the ground in front of her, and went away before the loyal members ganged up on her. She would return later, when they've calmed down.

Surprisingly,even in this deeper state,she could hear.Hope was worried she wouldn't wake up.She hoped she would wake up soon if she did wake up."Myst..If i d-dont wake up and stop breathing and dont have a heartbeat...if i die...Please be alpha..."She pleaded,just loud enough for Myst to hear.She could smell the spit."Do anything to us and die,Taboo..."She threatened him.

Myst was surprised from what Hope told her, and she was now speechless. She limped over to Hope and licked her ear, willing her to get up.

Hope smiled.She wasn't unconscious anymore.She tried to get up,but couldn't.She tried again.She got up for a second,and her legs were wobbly,but she could stand."I..I think i can walk..."She said to Myst.Lily smiled.She had been on Hope's shoulder the whole time,and still was.She was happy her friend could stand and walk again.

Myst smiled slightly as Hope stood up. "When.. When you asked me to be leader," she paused for a few seconds, looking in the direction that she saw Taboo in the corner of her eye "I'm not even in your pack!" She whispered loudly. Why would Hope ask that, if she wasn't even in the pack?
