My mom and dad got a lot on their minds, Thanksgivings in two days, their making plans for that... Then there’s Christmas right around the corner! And the Christmas program after that. xP

Eh, don't you love it when something new (or newish) breaks on you? .-. My laptops hinges broke, a key fell off, and the fan stopped working like, all overnight. I think someone must have dropped it or something, but it's very messed up now. Gotta make it last til February to get a new computer, though. Can't afford a new one yet. My laptop was less than 2 years old (just over a year I had it) Oh well. On the bright side- I had a great Thanksgiving! Not much of my family showed up though, some were sick some couldn't come, but it was fun either way. Now to wait for Christmas =3

Well, Thanksgiving was officially another sick day for me. I had the stomach flu (again), so I had to stay upstairs the whole time .-.
I'm sorry I'm not in much anymore. I've been so busy that I haven't really had time to check WEO. I do promise that I will be active as possible. I am open for PM's if you want to chat or have a question! I don't bite (:

Can anyone explain to me the tradition of thanks giving?
All I think of it right now is 'thanks for murdering millions of turkies.
'
._. And I know that's not the meaning of thanks giving. xDDD
I've got the game Dog's Life.
It.
Is.
EPIC.

To put it simply it has to do with the pilgrams and the native americans.
Pilgrims left Plymouth, England, on September 6, 1620. Their destination? The New World. Although filled with uncertainty and peril, it offered both civil and religious liberty.
For over two months, the 102 passengers braved the harsh elements of a vast storm-tossed sea. Finally, with firm purpose and a reliance on Divine Providence, the cry of “Land!” was heard.
Arriving in Massachusetts in late November, the Pilgrims sought a suitable landing place. On December 11, just before disembarking at Plymouth Rock, they signed the “Mayflower Compact”—America’s first document of civil government and the first to introduce self-government.
After a prayer service, the Pilgrims began building hasty shelters. However, unprepared for the starvation and sickness of a harsh New England winter, nearly half died before spring. Yet, persevering in prayer, and assisted by helpful Indians, they reaped a bountiful harvest the following summer.
The grateful Pilgrims then declared a three-day feast, starting on December 13, 1621, to thank Bob and to celebrate with their Indian friends. While this was not the first Thanksgiving in America (thanksgiving services were held in Virginia as early as 1607), it was America’s first Thanksgiving Festival.

I like HTTYD, but where did the sudden outbreak of Night Fury love come from? Series starts and it's an explosion of people wanting more HTTYD?

Im not gonna lie it was a good movie.
Although even thought it was pretty good, I do not like it when it gets overused. I think the movie HTTYD has the potential to became a family classic. Just like Lady and the Tramp did. Which every child still talks about even though it's a disney film from 1955.

I don't come along many people who like it... Just a few. And NOBODY likes Toothless more than me! I am gonna post one of my flaws and say that I cried because I didn't have a dragon... (Because Toothless is such a good friend and I cried because I don't have a friend like him....)

Series start? Hmm? There's one movie of it, and the bone knapper version. Well, in the UK, anyway.
But Terrible Terrors have always been my favourites...

I do not really have a favorite. The ones I like the most are the night fury for its speed, agility, and being awesome. The green death for its huge size and power that makes it awesome. Also the whispering death for its fearce apearence, even if it did not have a major role in the film.

Night fury. More specifically Toothless. He is fast, agile, friendly, brave, funny, cute and caring! I don't get how he could be that cute, then that ugly in the live spectacular.

Have you guys read the books? I was so ANGRY when that movie came out. All of the dragons were originally the size of dogs and all of the viking boys had one. (toothless was a midget "common brown dragon")

The boneknapper thing was more of a short film than an actual movie. However theirs stuff being said about an actual sequal to HTTYD in 2014.Foxesrule wrote:Series start? Hmm? There's one movie of it, and the bone knapper version. Well, in the UK, anyway.
