(I'm at school so I'm gonna make this short!)
Acornpaw sees the Thunderclan apprentice struggle in the water. He jumps in and grabs the fish the shecat apprentice was after. The fish struggles between his jaws but Acornpaw bites harder. The fish goes limp and Acornpaw cralws onto land. "Are- are- are you okay?" he asks and drops the fish beside her. Cloverleaf jumps into the water with Fishpaw and Sunbeam. "Acornpaw! Nice catch!" Fishpaw squeals then sits beside the Thunderclan apprentice. Cloverleaf and Sunbeam run over to the apprentices mentor and tell him what happened.

Dawnpaw sat up and huffed, trying not to shake as the breeze chilled her soaked fur. She blinked at the RiverClan apprentices, surprised they weren't jeering at her huge show of grace and expertise. "I'm kinda soaked.." she mews, making an attempt to sound a little less shocked than she actually was, "..but I think I'll be okay." Her eyes flicker to the fish and she gives a quiet laugh, also managing a genuine smile. "Yeah, nice catch," she agrees, realizing it was the exact one she had been after. He must have been quick to catch before she scared it into the depths of the river. She's able to dry off mostly with a quick grooming, but fur on her ears and tail are still damp, and she finds the land suddenly very cold.

Nik woke up abruptly with a loud sneeze, thus causing his sister to glare at him heatedly with one of her eyes for being so rudely awoken.
"Please don't tell me someone was talking about you." She grumbled. Nik gave her an amused look in return.
"Jealous, are we?" He snorted, getting up and lazily stretching out his slightly stiff muscles. Kin pouted at him; her brother was such a jerk when he was fully woken up, but he always oddly took on her own chipper personality when he first woke up. How annoying... She watched as her brother walked over to the large gurgling river, and a gleam entered her eyes when he stooped down to lap at the water- his guard was totally and utterly down.
Kin smirked and unwound herself before stalking up behind her brother. At the last moment, Nik's ears pricked up- but in the next he was yowling and being thrown into the water. Kin backed away from the edge, sputtering with laughter.
"The heck was that for, you ungrateful little fox-dunged idiot!" He screeched after climbing out of the water. Kin took in his appearence- his normally ruffled and dark brown coat was sodden and dripping, his fur all hanging down. His look of water-logged fury was too much for the pale she-cat, and she flopped down, laughing as her brother screeched at her for pushing him in the river.
Nik's tail twitched with annoyance, and with a disgruntled huff he dragged himself to the far side of the rocks to dry himself dry, all the while giving his sister a look of indignation. Kin's laughter finally stopped, and she watched with an amused expression as her brother tried to lick the water off of him. Finally he gave up, and with a last sneer in her direction he waltzed off into the woods again, leaving his sister behind.
Kin blinked slowly. I'll give him a little while to cool off... I'm tired anyways. Without another thought, Kin ducked under a small bush at the edge of the rocks where she curled up and fell asleep, wondering when her brother would come back for her.

Ravenfeather sighed and sat up, wincing as his stiff limbs protested against the sudden movement. He stretched, working feeling back into his paws, and chose a random direction to begin hunting. No harm in a few more pieces for the fresh kill pile, he thinks, but it's not why he's really out here and not returning to camp. He doesn't doubt Tornear and knows the elder won't tell about his friendliness towards the rogues, but he still isn't ready to pad into camp and act like he did nothing. So instead he procrastinates by trailing after stale mouse trails and marking every now and then when he nears the border.
The only problem with avoiding punishment, is that it leaves you with a lot of time. And time, as Ravenfeather has learned, often leads to brooding.

"Okay, good." Acornpaw smiled then turned to Fishpaw. Fishpaw grinned, "I'm happy you're okay." she nodded then piked the fish. "You can have it. I don't like eating anything my brother catches." she giggled then padded over to Cloverleaf.

Nik was still glaring when he reached a sandy hollow, not too far from where he had first seen the amber-eyed dark tomcat. His thoughts began to drift as he paced the sandy hallow, his facial expressions changing with each thought. I should be happy with how things are going now... so why do I feel so empty? Nik stopped his pacing and laid down in the sand, scuffling the soft dirt slightly as he rolled onto his side. It's warm out... so why do I feel so cold inside? What is that I could be missing? I have a sister and life is allowing me to live... so why don't I feel happy about it? Nik closed his eyes, his body once again becoming completely relaxed- something that could only have been done when he was a kit. I'm not alone. I have family. That should be enough, but... it's not, is it? Stupid life, you're so complicated sometimes. With a final sigh, Nik allowed himself to drift off into his subconcious, hoping to catch a glimpse of what might be bothering him.
(Kin is now asleep at the edge of Sunningrocks, and Nik is asleep in the sandy hollow.)

Ravenfeather pads quietly along, so buried in his thoughts that he misses the narrow dip of the hollow. He doesn't even have time to yelp before the ground opens up beneath his dark paws and he's hitting the sand with a muffled thump. "Ouch.." he mutters, shaking himself. Then he freezes. Maybe only two meters away, lays a sleeping cat. Instantly Ravenfeather's fur bristles in a neat line along his back. The tom is crouching, ready to attack when-
"Oh," he whispers, catching Nik's scent. He relaxes and watches now, amber eyes full of curiosity. I wonder if he's noticed me yet.
The steady breathing of the other indicates he is still asleep, and Ravenfeather sighs quietly in relief. Who knows how that one would react to being awake by a near stranger?
Now, however, he is unsure of what to do. Leaving Nik here doesn't seem wise. Mentors training their apprentices for combat come here, and the Dawn patrol might see him. The thought of waking the other tom isn't exactly an option Ravenfeather is jumping at, though.

Thunderclan notices the apprentices from Riverclan, all of them of which were quite hyper and adorable. It made his heart jump. "That was great, Dawnpaw." He laughs, licking her head to help clean her off a bit. "Trust me, for a Thunderclan cat, that's about the best you'll get. We definitely aren't much of swimmers." He assured her, hoping it would help relieve her and she wouldn't have to think lowly of herself. "Let's continue on, we should be nearby Windclan soon. Then you can catch their scent." He began to pad off, still close by the river.

Dawnpaw looked at the fish and back up at the RiverClan cat. "Wow, really? Thanks!" she purrs. Her attention is snatched away by the sound of her mentor's voice and she notices he's right beside her. "Oh, I gotta go," she mews to Acornpaw, wishing she had more time to talk to him and his sister. She flicks her tail at Thunderstrike a whispers, "He's my mentor." Then the little tabby gives a mrrow of laughter at Thunderstrike's comment, and stands steadily, tail up and fur fairly dry. "Cya!" she calls over her shoulder at the apprentice with a moutful of fish, then bounds to her mentor's side, the encounter a warm memory in her mind as they traveled to the WindClan border.

The yellow Tom took a minute to look around and taste the air. "This way." he called, making a sudden turn in direction. He made it out to a small clearing, where there was tall grass fairly nearby. "They hunt around here sometimes. I'm sure you can track on of their scents." Thunderstrike meowed, staying a little low. "I don't think we're allies anymore with Winclan, Dawnpaw. Onestar has looked at us like we're fools during the Gathering." His tone was serious now, with a touch of annoyance.

Nik began to twitch from his dream- he couldn't make much sense of it.
First, he had been running across a meadow, calling out for somebody- someone who was ahead of him. All he could see was the silhouette walking slowly away from him, but no matter how fast he ran he could never catch up.
"Don't leave me... please don't leave!" He cried out, pushing out and trying to reach the cat. He continued to fall behind, until nothing was left but the now colorless meadow, time stuck between the last minutes of light. Moments later, he had turned around to see his sister facing away from him- she was happy and laughing with a bunch of other cats. But when he reached out to touch her, his paw went straight through her body. He was invisible to everyone.
Nik startled into wakefulness, his yellow eyes wide and his pupils dialated. I'm not alone... I'm not, am I? After a few minutes of calming down his erratic heartbeat, he finally realized another cat was nearby. He jumped up with his hackles raised and claws unsheathed, wondering who had seen him in his most vulnerable state, but relaxed slightly when he saw it was the tom he had met earlier, staring at him almost curiously. "Oh... it's just you. What're you doing here anyways?" Nik grumbled as he looked away. He could feel his fur grow hot- one was not supposed to be in any state of weakness around another, even if that other individual seemed to be kind.

Ravenfeather was not prepared for the sudden movement from Nik. He gave a startled cry and scrambled back a few inches, amber eyes wide and fur fluffed up in shock. Then he saw recognition flicker in the other cat's eyes, and he breathed a sigh of relief, seeing as Nik didn't seem to feel threatened. The other's eyes didn't seem as emotionless as before, but there was something there Ravenfeather couldn't name. It was gone so quickly though, that he wasn't sure it had existed in the first place.
When he was question, Ravenfeather answered genuinely, "I didn't think it would be wise to leave you here for a patrol to sniff you out, but you were sleeping so..." he trailed off, not exactly sure what to finish with. What could he say, "So I watched you sleep?" Well that didn't sound professional at all. He mustered up every last ounce of innocence he could find and hoped the other would just take that for an answer.

Dawnpaw followed her mentor so closely that she almost bumped into him at the turn. Suddenly, he seemed to grow more alert, so she perked her ears and reminded herself to be extra careful as they crouched slightly. The thought of getting attacked by a WindClan patrol excited her, but she wasn't ready to fight and didn't think she could do much to defend herself. Especially if WindClan was not on good terms with ThunderClan at the moment. Her ears twitched slightly at the odd note of annoyance that rarely ever tainted Thunderstrike's voice, but she didn't look up, fearing she'd be lunged at as soon as she was distracted.

Nik blinked a few times, before twitching his whiskers, amusement washing over his face. "You... watched me sleep? That's not creepy at all." He purred, wondering what his sister would say. "Last time I checked, I was the one doing the watching." His stance was relaxed, while looking for a reaction from the other cat. It would be fun to watch him get flustered... Kin'll kill me if I tell her about this, because she had to miss it...

(Why is it that I always have to catch up? It sucks being in different time zones haha! Oh, I might drop Foxpaw because no ones is roleplaying with him and I'm so busy with Fishpaw and Acornpaw!)
Acornpaw mewed goodbye then jumped into the the river, Fishpaw followed. They reached the otherside, Cloverleaf and her mother swam over to and they walked back to camp. (SHORT POST! Sorry....)
