Welcome to WEO, MockingJay. I gotta say, this is one of the best communities I've been in-- And I'm sure you'll love it too :3 Also, I'll be glad to help you get points sometime.

Greetings MockingJay! Apologies for the late welcoming.
I am quite excited to hear that you role play. If you don't mind the question, what past experience do you have with role play? Some people like to share their stories..
For example, I've been role-playing for about five years, and started on Furcadia. Forum role play has always seemed a little unnatural to me since it's not where I started out, but it's essentially the same concept and I've come to enjoy it.
I look forward to role playing with you~
Also, welcome to the community!

I havn't roleplayed for awhile and I'm active on Magistream, WEO (of course), and a warrior cat one. Sometime's at school some friends and I get a pad of paper and roleplay on there. Another kid always begs me to do live-action-roleplaying as Skyrim characters then a whole group of kids will join in

Ah, it sounds like you've got a wide background with it! Keep having fun, okay? c:
When I was younger, my friends and I would often pretend to be wolves or characters from The Tales Of Redwall (perhaps yesterday's Skyrim, in this comparison). Now I get together with a couple adult folk and we LARP. I could speak for the quality of role play in that it accustoms players to thinking like others and thus being more able to sympathize and tolerate, but for the most part role play is just bloody fun. Do you have any deep, meaningful thoughts on the subject of pretending to be another?

Everyone: I've been extremely busy

but I'm back. Good news: Friends keep calling me..... new sister, a panda sweater

and.... Bad news: My brother is getting more annoying.
Alrai: I love pretending to be another. You get to express your inner creativity and skills. You can be who you always wish to be even if it's an animal or totally different being.

No, you are not allowed to advertise on the forums here. But Congratulations about your sister! (:

I feel like informing us of an interesting new role play site she's found is an acceptable behavior.. Advertising implies some sort of gain in the act of bringing attention to another site.
