Fishpaw padded around not far from the river. She quickly scented another cat and darted to the river. She scanned the other side, without any luck she used her ears. She head the sound of cats all the way in the Riverclan camp.... and a cat drinking water from the river! She jumped over to the edge of the river, "Hi..." she whispered to the other cat across the river.... "My parents would kill me if they saw you here. What are you doing?" she sniffed, her scent of smell failed her again. "And what clan are you?"

Jaypaw's head shot up. "I'm on my side of the territory," he meowed irritably. "And I'm a ThunderClan medicine cat apprentice," he flicked his ears. He tested the air, and smelt it was a female. Judging by the tone of her voice and her words 'my parents would kill me' he knew it was an apprentice. The scent was RiverClan, of course. He stared at her with clouded blue eyes, unblinking. He started thinking again. The apprentice had asked him what Clan he was. Either she had just started training or she had a bad sense of smell, or a cold. But since Jaypaw couldn't smell any sickness on her, and she was perfectly healthy, he eliminated the third theory. She'd also whispered, that told him she was anxious about his presence.
Meanwhile, Wolfeye paced the camp. She didn't know what in the name of StarClan was wrong with Jaypaw, but being protective of her only kin, she didn't want to think there was anything wrong with him. He wasn't wrong. It was special. At least, she hoped it was. If only Jaypaw wasn't blind, he would've made a great warrior with all his senses. But maybe his abilities would make him an even better medicine cat. She couldn't be sure, all she wanted was Jaypaw to be happy, but her young nephew always seemed so impassive and far away. She worried about him sometimes, even though in her heart she knew Jaypaw'd ridicule her. He wasn't the caring, loving, sensitive sort.

Fishpaw looked around finally seeing the other cat. "Sorry, I can't smell. I'm Fishpaw by the way." she mewed. "Fishpaw!! Come back!" she heard her mentor call, "Bye!" she said then ran off.

Jaypaw flicked his ears, and turned around to walk back to camp.

Not much to write....

(Haha, I cant write either until everyone's sleeping. Haha!)

Fishpaw padded up to her mentor, "Back to camp. It's almost moon-high." her mentor explained. Fishpaw darted away and paddled over the small river to get to the camp. She shook the water off and went to the apprentice den and curled up. "Night Fishpaw," said her friend already curled up. "Good night." she whispered.

Jaypaw slinked back into the medicine cat's den. Luckily, no one noticed him much, and he could sleep in peace. Jaypaw awoke in a brilliant light that blinded him. It died away, and he knew he was in StarClan. Jaypaw froze. Was he dead? Of course not, this was only a dream. Jaypaw wandered onwards, and spotted a mouse. Eager to try out hunting skills, he stalked, and pounced. Hunting was easy here in StarClan, and he didn't need any training to catch one. He was just about to settle down and eat it when something stopped him.
"Well, young Jaypaw. I wouldn't," came a voice. Jaypaw's head shot up. A grey-furred long-haired she-cat with amber eyes stood before him. For one moment he thought it was an ancestor of Wolfeye, for she looked a bit like her. Same fur color, same eye color.
"Why not?" He challenged.
"What do you think it'd be like, to eat prey from a land of the dead?"
That put him off.
"Alright, you have it then," Jayapw growled.
"Gladly," said the elderly she-cat, who gulped it down.
"Who are you?"
"Yellowfang."
"Yellow-who?"
"Former medicine cat of ThunderClan."
"You don't smell ThunderClan. Much."
"I was born in ShadowClan."
"You're half-clan?"
"No, I joined ThunderClan later on."
"Why?"
"Because."
"Because?"
"Because I have my reasons."
Jaypaw eyed her. "You're being here is?"
"You have powers, Jaypaw. Powers no cat could dream of having."
"Why? What are they for?"
"Not even StarClan knows, but you and your kin with thrive, Jaypaw. Remember that. Be careful. There are many dangers ahead."
Jayapw frowned, but StarClan fell away like jigsaw pieces, taking him with it, falling into endless darkness, until his heart jumped as if he'd hit the ground. Jaypaw woke, panting.

Fishpaw awoke to the sounds of the trees rustling. She opened one eye and saw the sun already in the sky, She slept in! Fishpaw got her her feet and rushed over to the warrior's den,
"Hello? Anyone? Bluestripe?" she tried to whisper, but she was to worried he has left without her.
"Fishpaw..." a deep voice made the young apprentice spin around.
"Uh Bluestripe!" Fishpaw cried with surprise, "I thought you left without me."
"Why would I leave without you?"
"Because its already sun-high."
"Leopardstar would like to speak with you so, I let you sleep in," the big grey tabby nodded to the young cat then walked her toward the Leader's den.

"Fishpaw?" the gentle voice of Leopardfstar came from inside. "Come in dear."
Fishpaw took a step in and looked around. She saw the spotted cat sitting in her den with angered eyes, Fishpaw glanced at Bluestripe who was walking away to leave the two to talk alone.
"Birdpaw scented Thunderclan in the apprentice den when she woke up. She looked around and traced the scent to you. Have you been speaking to a Thunderclan cat?" Leopardstar hissed.
"No... we hate Thunderclan and everything inside it."
"Good girl. Run along now." Leopardstar shooed the apprentice away.

(I'm wondering if Thunderclan can start a battle and end up killing Leopardstar? I don't mind who takes the final blow, hehe!)

Name: Tornear
Age: 102 moons
Gender: Male
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Elder
Looks: http://i40.tinypic.com/2ngsnsn.jpg
History: A long, long history of battling. As old as he might be, he is still fit for battle, however many warriors view him somewhat as a legend for his tactical fighting skills. He is a proud tom that has provided much support to his Clan. Every day he continues to make sure he's well kept and hunting when he can. He doesn't like being old and though he finds it cute for apprentices to fix his bed for him, he still likes to do it himself. The big drawback that made him become an elder was the fact that his hearing has greatly lessened and so he can barely hear a thing unless a cat was on his left side. The leader at the time of this decision did not view a cat like him as a warrior anymore and thus simply made him an elder right off the bat. The leader did not like any disabilities for any warrior, thus his decision was made clear. It was a very, very depressing moment for Tornear, as that leader even acknowledged him as the next Deputy until he had the horrible injury.
Family: He's had a few children and his family has a full history of being in ThunderClan. All of them were of course Warriors, one was even a Deputy at one point until killed by a member from ShadowClan. Since then this family has had a large distaste over that clan and never wishes to be near their borders.

Name: ThunderStrike
Age: 39 moons
Gender: Male
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Warrior
Looks: http://i42.tinypic.com/b7drmh.jpg
History: ThunderStrike is definitely the hunting type. Despite his lack of blending into his surroundings, he can definitely strike like a snake when it comes to speed. Despite this he is fairly weak, also dodging attacks is something he has yet to understand correctly. As quick and agile he may be, he lacks proper defense abilities and is somewhat clumsy. Overall he is a pretty decent tom, friendly and talkative once you get to know him. He usually likes to go out and hunt as soon as he wakes up to make sure that in the end, everyone gets their fill.
Family: His family came from kittypets. (He was born in ThunderClan, however). Both of his parents arrived around ThunderClan territory and were tested on their strength and abilities to survive. His mother sadly was unable to pass this "test", but since she was carrying kits she would be spared until she had them and they no longer needed her. ThunderClan was mainly looking for the father's genes from the kits, but it seemed like ThunderStrike was the only kit that resembled him, so the rest were taken back to his mother. His father fairly recently had died from a war breakout.

Jaypaw woke in his subtle den, and breathed in to smell the familiar herb-scent. He groaned, and got up, presumably bumped his head against something and woke Leafpool. "What is it Jaypaw?"
"Nothing."
Her breathing deepened and eh kenw she was alseep again. The grey apprentice pushed his nose through the entrance, and the air felt cold. He must've woken up early, as the dream was still making his heart beart louder. He wondered who this Yellowfang was – maybe Leafpool would know. He'd ask her later. Padding outside, he was hoping to see Wolfeye, but there was no sign of anyone.
"You're up early," came a dismal voice. He recognised it as his aunt, Wolfeye's.
"Dream."
"Bad one?"
"No, but it woke me up anyway."
The grey senior warrior sat down beside him, and despite his unsocial personality, he pressed against her warm fur. "Do you think there's something wrong with us?"
Wolfeye stiffened, but she didn't show any emotion. "We're a quiet, impassive pair. Stand-offish. No, we're just different, that's all. Maybe not entirely Clan, but not all rogue either."
"But me?"
Her expression softened. Jaypaw was probably the only cat alive to see her soft side. "No, special."

(Accepted Alex, glad to see you join! Now our apprentices can do more work. Oh and, there will be a gathering tomorrow (realtime) i'll set a list of when gatherings and medicine cat meetings at moonstone will be.)

Foxpaw went to see Firestar in his den, Foxpaw nudged the leader awake. The tom opened an eye and saw his apprentice standing in the entrance of the den.
"Foxpaw? It's still early. Go back to your den."
"I can't."
"Why?" the tom opened his other eye and got up to his paw.
"I had a weird and strange dream. I saw these red cat-like creatures, they weren't cats but they looked alot alike but bigger. Somehow like foxes, but meaner.""
"Strange..." Firestar mumbled.
"I also saw myself. Older but still an apprentice, about 10 or 12 moons. I heard a firm but gentle voice before the dream, A new danger is rising, Fox will be the enemy and the hero."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Hm... this is a sign. I will speak with Leafpool soon. Try to get some sleep I will sort this out."
Foxpaw nodded then padded away, he wanted to do some hunting before the other cats woke up.

(Haha, sounds good. Looks like the apprentices can take care of my elder and my warrior can have an apprentice to teach.)

The elder turned on his back as he lay there asleep. His hind leg was beginning to ache. He woke up from the gentle pain, making him sigh in a frustrated tone. He slowly stood, his head groggy and mood grumpy. As he limped, he lifted his hind right leg to help with the pain as he slowly made his way toward the medicine cat. Tornear looked inside a little. Judging by Leafpool's breath, she must have still been asleep. He made a soft sigh and turned around, walking back to his bed to deal with the pain until sun high. He lay back on his bed, uncomfortable due to the hard ground and his aching leg.

Thunderstrike was twitching around in his sleep. His dreams always contained of capturing prey. He was always proud of his snake-lick agility and his sharp claws. Suddenly he jumped up from his bed and fell backwards on his back, making him wake up instantly. He panted as he righted himself again. It was like all of a sudden the dream became reality. He ran away from his bed and into the opening of the camp, calming himself down as he breathed in the fresh air from the night.

((OOC: o.o Dawnpaw doesn't have a mentor. I don't plan on posting for her until she does, either.))

Ravenfeather's tail swayed in his sleep. He was locked tightly in the grasp of a dream, but he was happy to let it twist the world into a land of mixed realities. Words being whispered in his ears, though he could not understand them. Faces of cats he knew, but he could not remember anything about them. And scents he recognized, but unable to give them a name. One scent in particular caught his attention. Moss.
Amber eyes flickered open, bright and wild with the realization that they had been gazing upon images conjured from some dark place in his mind. One that failed to hold onto him as soon as some strand from reality was noticed. Moss. His nest, cradling him in a soft circle as he slept. Sighing with a mixture of relief and resentment, a black paw stretched out and dabbed at a stray piece of the springing bedding.
As thoughts of the real world began flooding his mind- patrols, hunting, food-the last wisps of dreamland were blown away and whatever memory he held of last night seemed to fade. The tom sat up in his nest and gave his ruffled charcoal fur a few careful licks, and it now shined with a a glossy luster. Had the tom ever seen a raven's feather, he'd know his mother had named him well, and not without purpose. The thought of his mother gave life to a small flicker of flame, one of hate and despise. But these were not for her, oh no...
So consumed in his thoughts was the young tom, that he did not notice Thunderstrike until the older cat sprung from his bed, landing with a soft thud on his back. Ravenfeather's amber gaze widened and he had to use every ounce of his willpower to control his feature and stifle a mrrow of laughter. The feel of amusement had eluded him in the moons following his parent's death. Again he was plagued by darker emotions and images of a young tabby kit whose name he hadn't even bothered to know. She had apparently been apprenticed recently, but he had made it a point not to attend her ceremony. She was the reason for their deaths, he was certain no one else could possibly be a candidate for the tragic string of events that took the life of his mother and father. Still, a nagging though in his mind spoke of the fact that she was only a kit, and it wasn't her fault she had been born at such an ungodly time.
Sighing, Ravenfeather shoved his way out of the warriors den after Thunderstrike, determined to be in a good mood today.

(I can be the mentor, if you'd like.)

Thunderstrike had calmed down by now, though embarrassed that Ravenfeather had probably seen the event. He turned a little to smile awkwardly at him, then slunk into the woods. He sneaked into a bush and smelled the air. He then examined the ground. There were rabbit tracks, and they seemed fairly new. He sneaked over, keeping a close eye on the tracks. It looks like the rabbit went this way a lot. In the corner of his eye he noticed a small shake in a shrub. He carefully crawled his way over there, making sure not to make much of any noise. Out came a fairly plump mouse. The tom licked his lips, sprinting over and sheathing his claws. His paw may as well have been lightning fast, as it was a split second before the mouse was squirming and squeaking underneath his paw. He pinned it down and quickly made the kill. Thunderstrike carried it over to camp and dropped it off on the usual spot.

((OOC: :D That'd be great!))

Morning found Dawnpaw sitting outside the apprentice's den, emerald eyes blinking in the soft sunlight. Her whole body felt like it was fizzing with excitement. Maybe it was, because her tabby fur kept fluffing up, making her look like a burr. She tried and failed to smooth it, but it would lay down in a while. Her mentor Thunderstrike was already up, and her paws itched to bound over and greet him. The only thing keeping her still was the sight of a sleek black tom sitting a little ways off from the warrior's den. He caught her looking at him and his eyes narrowed coldly. What's his problem?
Dawnpaw looked down at her paws, feeling ashamed for some reason. Working up the courage to pad quietly over to her mentor took some time, but when she was close to him, she could feel the black tom's accusing glare drop away. Dawnpaw decided to stick with her mentor if she could. That tom didn't seem like he would bother her if Thunderstrike was around.
Her mentor was depositing his kill at the designated spot for prey to be piled. She puffed up with pride. He may not be the leader, but she knew he was the best hunter in the clan. Dawnpaw decided she wouldn't trade him for Firestar any day. Tail and head held high, the young cat sat down in front of Thunderstrike. "So what are we gonna do today?" she mewed, green eyes wide with excitement. Maybe he'll show the me territory! Oh! Or show me how to hunt like him! Dawnpaw wriggled with anticipation, ready to show that she was no longer the weak little kit that almost died in the nursery.

Wolfeye's ears flicked. "End of subject. Now, Jaypaw, off you go to your duties, and I'll see to mine." She rose to her paws, and spotted Thunderstrike carrying a plump mouse. "Well done," she meowed before padding off to hunt on her own.
Jaypaw watched his only kin disappear through the trees, and hurried back to the medicine cat's den. He found Leafpool, who was already sitting up and yawning. "Oh, I haven't overslept, have I? That was the best sleep I've had in ages" She murmured, trying to get up. Jaypaw pushed her back down.
"No no, you go ahead and rest. I'll see to the elders." He heard Leafpool murmur something, but he didn't care about whatever she said. He couldn't be a warrior, so he might as well put up with it. Jaypaw grabbed some comfrey, feverfew and poppy seeds, then headed to the elders den.
As he padded inside, he sniffed, then recognized Tornear. "I've got you comfrey and feverfew for your leg, and poppy seeds, as you might have trouble sleeping with an aching leg," he informed him. He'd chosen comfrey because it healed broken bones, but he wasn't so sure, so he brought feverfew because Leafpool had said it could heal aches, but she didn't mention what kind. Poppy seeds in case Tornear's leg started aching again in the night, and he wouldn't have to wake everyone up or put up with the pain. Jaypaw thought for a moment. "I'll also bring you some more moss later," he added. Or one of the other apprentices can do it, he thought. He'd wanted to go herb-hunting today, and see what he could find. It also helped him to know the territory.
