Ech grunted with pain. She needed to find her herd so her calf would be safe. Any herd even if it was a herd of goats.

SandStorm mewed gently, frightened at what had happened before her very eyes only a night ago. She had witnessed her mother being ruthlessly slaughtered by a bear. She hissed as an unknown scent entered the log and into her nose. "H-h-hello?" She whispered, more of to herself than anyone else. Her eyes suddenly went wide with fear as the idea of the scent belonging to the bear entered her mind. No, it couldn't be, calm down, SandStorm. She thought to herself, trying to calm her breathing.

Ech ment her head and looked into the log. "Hello... y-your not a preditor trying to kill me are you?" she asked.

Happy kicked around in her mothers womb. She had to be let out soon!

Ech fell to the ground with pain. She tried to stand again but it was imposible.
