The Plains Bison
Hooves of thunder,
Mass of brown,
Used to be,
The mighty bison.
Hunted to extinction,
The plains starve,
For the thundering hooves,
Of the mighty bison.
Hope you enjoy!

Sitting here behind my bars,
I watch you walk free,
You can have a life, you run, you can fly among the stars,
You know you have more happiness than me.

So please,
As I reach my hand out to you,
The only one who can help me, I get down on my knees,
Begging you to stop the deep pain that is known only to few.

But you walk past,
Some blind to my suffering, some guiltily averting their eyes,
My life is never at one speed, sometimes so agonizingly slow, sometimes scarily fast,
So I beg you please, save us, before from going mad me and my fellow prisoners dies.

Old North America

The eagle soars over the land.
The cry of the wolf echos in the night.
The tiny firefly shines its light.
The Bison roam the prairie and the bear cubs are getting warry.
The fish swim on the riverbed and the mountain lions are loosing their edge.
All this happens in my own backyard as it was a time when animals worked hard.
What happened to this forgeton land?
It disappeared replaced by man.
But every time you lay down at night.
You can hear the land trying to make things right.
For when ever you see and eagle soar over your land,
The crying wolf echoing in the night,
A tiny firefly shineing its light,
Or fish swim in a riverbed.
Even a mountain lion on the edge.
Know that this land is still their.
The lands spirit is always in the air.

I am- The wolf and spirit.
I wonder- About the light in wolves' hearts.
I heear- The wolves howling by moonlight.
I see- The wolves hunting in union.
I want- The wolves to thrive in peace.
I am- The wolf and spirit.

I pretend- I am the mighty wolf, stalking the hearty deer.
I feal- A tug inside me, leading me towards the wolf.
I touch- My soul, the spirit of Canis Lupus.
I worry- About the numbers of wolves left to nurture the wild.
I cry- To think of wolves withering away.
I am- The wolf and spirit.

I understand- The wolf's fear of us humans.
I say- The excessive wolf hunts will stop soon.
I dream- To become a snowy alpha, leading my pack through thick and thin.
I try- Explaining the wolf's true nature.
I hope- To speak to these majestic creatures through my own voice.
