(Pretty sure you could put it like "Hope jumped at the bear and attempted to bite it's leg" because that way the person your interacting with can have a chance to react)

The coyote jumped when he heard the yelps of the pup and the angry sounds of fighting. Hastily, he ran towards it, ears pricked and eyebrows pulled together in frown. Oh... That doesn't look that good... Tiilex thought with a frown, looking as the almost-adult pup and the full-grown attacked the bear, who seemed to be chewing on the small, young pup. Tii whimpered sadly before jumping at the bear's neck and clenching his jaws around it, sinking into the matted fur and a bit of skin, thrashing to no avail as the bear whipped a clawed paw at him and made blood splat onto the forest floor. The back of the dark coyote's head smacked into the stones with a sickening THWACK, and he lay still. (no, he isn't dead btw.)

(My fail attempt at drawing Myst. I made the ears look weird and the back legs, and the fur... ;-; I just started drawing like a week ago though, but I hope this sort of helps show what Myst looks like )

It all happened too fast. Mila didn’t know what was going on.. She struggled again, trying to get out of the harsh grip. She tried scratching the bears chin with one of her claws hoping that would get her out of it’s mouth. It didn’t, she sighed. She thought for a minute... She couldn’t think of any idea to help herself out. The bear roared, Mila fell on the ground, she was glad she was out of the bears mouth but, she remembered looking at her leg.
"Well, that’s bad... I probably won’t be able to escape. She said under her breath. She tried a funny way of walking, sorta dragging her leg. It worked well enough, but she was too slow. She laid down and waited hoping the bear wouldn’t grab her again. She tried standing up in the best way she could... -- She was laying on the ground, whimpering. She didn’t know what happened. The bear must of hit her, but it hurt more this time...

Hope landed on the ground as she couldn't hold on anymore.She had only bruised the bear.She walked over to Mila."Are...Are you alright?"She asked,tears in her eyes,hoping her friend wouldn't die.She looked over at the coyote,then turned her attention back to Mila.

"I...I dont know.You may have sprained or broken it but there's no evidence of it."She licked Mila's leg in an attempt to heal it.Her tongue had once saved her life,anyway."You shouldn't feel nothing...This isn't good.We need to take you into the pack den to rest now."Mila told her gently.

Myst looked back over at the bear, then saw the coyote from earlier on the ground. Confused, she backed up a few steps, staring at the coyote. She didn't even notice it until now. What was it doing there? Must then realized she was about to step all over Mila in her confusion, and she immediately stopped backing up then quickly turned around. Mila didn't look good, and it was then Myst realized she was also hurt, but not as bad as Mila. She glared back at the bear and coyote then quickly looked back at Mila. "Do you need to be carried?" She asked worriedly.
