Fang roared and fell off, but got back up and was quick to leap at the hyenadon again, trying desperately to sink his fangs into it.

Fonx rawred at him and tried to turn her head and bite him. Of course it didn't work. (And this is why hyenadon died out.) She was bleeding pretty bad now.

As the two were fighting, Belleza and Guapo snuck out and ran to their mother, half dead.
"Mom!" Belleza said, nuzzling her mother. Kuda was still unconsious, though the cubs thought she was dead.

Soro roared and contiued to try and sink his fangs into it.

She passed out from losing to much blood.

Soro prepared his fangs, then brought them down to the hyenadon's throat...

And Fonx could not dodge because she is unconcious. R.I.P.

Snipe was following her mother as usual. It was boring really, just following her all the time. "Hey, Nip, I'm gonna go have some fun. Cover for me," she whispered to her timid sister. She went exploring, looking for anything of interest.

Shaking her head, Runningwind realised she had zoned out. She could tell now from the smell the terror bird had died from a mammoth and... It was too complicated. All Runningwind bothered to understand the buffalo carcass was now abandoned (Hopefully it wasn't rotting. But it probably was.) and it was time for her meal. Tripping over a stick once or twice, Runningwind walked towards the buffalo carcass and started to eat what was left.

Kuda awakened dizzily and looked at her cubs.
"My cubs!" she yelled, out of breath, "I'm so happy to see you!"
Belleza and Guapo were rambling on about all that happened while she was out.
"So the roar wasn't you? That's a relief!" she said.
"I'm just happy you're alive!" Belleza yelled.
